I purchased this item on the 21st of July, it lasted just over 2 weeks and then failed on the 2nd of August.The well known saying of "buy cheap buy twice" is definitely correct in this case, I have now been and bought a Mahle replacement this morning being the 3rd of August, AC now back functioning as it should.My guess on fail point is the plastic pin/point of sensor which pushes on the valve for my Audi A4.Definitely buy an exact replacement and save yourselves the hassle of fitting twice.

Easy to fit. Worked fine!
Was a bit nervous because of reviews but took a gamble!Fitted it to my 2012 Audi A6 and it works fine! The sensor looked just the same as the OEM one so I'm happy with it.

Does what it's supposed to.
Was a little concerned given that the same part from audi is £78. But for £15 thought it was worth a chance.Delighted with the results. Works perfectly. Fitted to a 2012 audi s6 avant c7. Cleared the 00256 code. Air con now back working.Note that it does not come with a new seal though. I tried using the old one but a bit of gas came out so fitted a new seal i already had, but the correct one can be bought for pence. Also on audis there is normally an auto shut off valve on the mounting point for this sensor so you don't have to recharge your system after replacement.

Sent it back, ordered genuine. Sadly these cheap ones don't work 😪

Failed after 1 weeks use
It worked perfectly for 1 week, then it died.Don't waste your money, get an OEM spec Mahle branded version from your local motor factors for not a lot more
