Cobble Hill Seaside Attractions 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. Good quality materials and the pieces are interesting shapes. Great puzzle!

Let me get the positives out of the way first since it won't take long. The picture quality seems good, and the pieces are textured almost like canvas which gives the puzzle a rustic look and feel, which I like. With that said, it took me 5 minutes after opening the box to know that this would be a 3 star maximum review. As I started to pull pieces out of the box for sorting, I immediately found many pieces that were still stuck together. Not completely out of the ordinary, until I realized they were together because they were not completely cut. After another 5 minutes I wished I could give it 0 stars. All I have done so far is sift around for the border pieces, and I have found 15 pieces of picture that are completely detached from the actual puzzle piece, and countless others that are peeling away from the cardboard. The cuts are sloppy and do not fit together well to the point where the border isn't even flush in some places. You can even see through some of the joints to the surface below. At this point I think I will end up spending more time gluing the pictures back on to the cardboard than I will spend actually working on the puzzle. Poor quality and a complete waste of money. This will be my first and last purchase from Cobble Hill. I did get a good chuckle when I read the advertisement insert they put in the box that states "we think we make the best puzzles on the market". I can only assume they mean the flea market.

Love the textured look and the puzzle picture itself, however there are so many pieces where the paper has come off of the cardboard and several more starting to peel off. Disappointed. :(

Very poor quality. Had to spend half an hour with an exacto knife to get pieces separated. Most weren't even cut all the way through. Pieces didn't fit well, were loose, and warped. Entire edge of the puzzle was creased like it had been folded in half. When finished the result was bumpy and had gaps. Badly made. Stick with Ravensburger and Buffalo.
