This is a replacement for my first cover that finally ripped after several years exposure to the sun and elements.This style Akorn is rather odd in that the cooking bowl is at one end of the cart. Finding a generic cover is impossible and tarps leave too many folds which trap water.This cover fits just right. It does fit snug so putting in on is an exercise in working each of the corners a little at a time. However, the snugness keeps the cover in place in thunderstorm type winds.I recall getting 4 years out of my first one and this one appears identical.

I bought this to cover the akorn kamado with the side cart, which it supposed to be what it is for. It looks nice. My only complaint is that the cover comes down and binds in the wheels, so if you want to move the cart with the cover on you have to bend down and fold it up. Seems like its made of sturdy material though.Update: this lasted about a year outside on the porch before it started to dry rot.

I tried another model that said it would fit, but it was short. I could not get the official model at that time with what seemed like an insurgence in buying grill products and possibly supply chain issues, and I am glad I did when it was back in stock. It covers everything and I can leave stuff safely protected on the shelf under the grill. I cannot speak to durability, but I don't expect anything to last long where I live with the amount of sun I get.

Two years and it has torn. It has become brittle and cracked and tore within my fingers grasp. I live in the Pacific Northwest not exactly a sunny hot state. Disappointed...
