Q: In your opinion, what works better Non-Hinged or Hinged version? I am planning to put it on wheels and keep it around work desk.

I've only wall mounted the non-hinged versions but if I was going to put one on wheels I'd use the hinged version because the back would be secure. The non hinged versions are open back.

Q: What hardware should be used to mount this to a wall? Are two bolts into studs enough to support this?

No - don't skimp on a solid mount! I see four holes on the (poor quality) pictures so that's how many lag bolts to use. If the mounting holes are 16" apart and you are lucky enough that your location has 16" studs there, you can mount it directly to the wall with some 1/4" lag bolts that are 2.5-3" long. Add washers, too. You never know what weighty item you'll add in the future.

Q: Instructions say box needs to be grounded, but all devices already grounded. Why does the box need to be grounded? Easiest way?

Ground wire also helps keep EMI/RFI from getting in/out of the box. Also think faraday cage for protection.

Q: How do you lock the side panels/doors?

There is a spring loaded L-pin that needs to be pulled when removing or installing the side panel. If the front is locked then the L-pin can't be pulled and side remains locked in by the pin.
