I have an 11 hand Welsh pony with a very refined head. It is adjusted as tightly as possible. The crown fits fine, but the cavesson is loose.

I bought this bridle because I needed a black English bridle to present a mare at a warmblood inspection and I couldn't find anything locally... The bridle filled the requirements..... At this price point it is exactly what one would expect but very functional.... Not the best leather but I will say I have owned this brand before and I do believe the child that used it used it for a few years of 4-H before upgrading.... it was a perfect grab me on short notice item.... not something I would expect to last and look new for the Long Haul nor should you for a bridle at this price point. I was very satisfied and would recommend for someone wanting to try a class or two needing a black bridle, entry level riders in need of a cheap get me by until I get a better one, or someone in a pinch that doesn't want to spend a fortune under the understanding that is not a piece of equipment that would withstand daily prolonged use for years like it's expensive counterparts...

also received a tough 1 bridle, not sure if Silver Fox bridles suppose to be Tough 1 bridles. I waited for 25 days to finally receiving it due that the first bridle was lost somewhere. I had to wait 17 days before I could either get a refund or another bridle send. Thought not he sellers fault for lost mail but when the package arrived with the first order tracking number , figured actually out they never send it after receiving the label. Excited it finally arrive here and went bummer. I guess the quality is what you payed for, don't think it will last very long, it is very stiff and shows some miner cracking lines. I am going to soak it and hopefully it will soften some. I just going to use it as a training bridle and get my horse a better bridle later on. I don't feel like going through an exchange or getting a refund and just will make it work.

Soft & supple leather/material. Good price. Fit well. We're not professional english riders, just needed something for a few classes. This fit the bill.

I bought this, knowing it was cheap, but figured I would use it only for shows and stick with my nicer bridle at home where matching didn't matter. The leather felt cheap and plastic-like, but I had expected as much. I attached my bit and went to release the buckles to adjust to my mare's head when I noticed cracking around the holes. Every hole had cracks in the leather surrounding it. The buckles required so much force to open, I was worried I'd punch my horse trying to release them. They also felt thin and ready to break. There's cheap, then there is I wouldn't trust it more than a week, cheap.

Love this bridle! We had trouble finding a good fitting English bridle for my sister's horse. He is an arab cross and all the bridles we tried had nose bands that were just too big. This "Cob" sized bridle fit him perfect!. Leather was soft and ready to use. No foul odor that sometime comes with newly oiled leather products. Very clean and attractive. It was made in the US which is always a plus.
