Perfect for adding quick protection to power-rail connected hardware
These are perfect. Well built and convenient, exactly what I was looking for. I have a home-built solar installation, and my battery bank holds an enormous amount of current. While I have protection for that high-power side of things, I also have a number of monitoring and related auxiliary systems running power from the main battery buss bars, and I was concerned that - in the unlikely event something shorted across them, the full power of those batteries could get dumped into the shorted wires. So I ordered these little guys and installed close to the buss bars and - problem solved. When you order the fuse holders, be sure to order several of the correct sized (both physically and electrically) so you'll have spares.

Works well for light duty use
Works great on small current loads. I used this to put an inline fuse on a SWR meter that pulls less than 100ma, I put a 1A fuse in the holder and it fit great. Note that this fuse holder uses 5mm X 20mm fuses, not the larger more standard 6mm X 30mm fuses. These are smaller than typical sized fuses but are readily available on Amazon in a multi-fuse kit. I put heat shrink tubing on the end and the insulation on the wire got very soft and partially melted, it doesn't have very high temperature plastic insulation on the wires, so again - more suitable for small current loads. But for that intended purpose, it works great. The two halves of the fuse holder screw together (multi turns) - not the usual 1/.4 turn as found on most fuse holders. It holds together very well.Overall I'm happy with it, because I intended it for a small current load, so the very small gauge wires and light duty wire insulation is fine, I am using it in a benchtop setting on a SWR meter that never moves. If this was used in an automotive or field use setting where it would be subject to a lot of heavy use and movement, it may not be as durable, but on a bench situation where it is used in a "set it and forget it" mode like Ron Popeil always said in his commercials, it works fine. The price is certainly right, I just needed an inexpensive light duty fuse holder and this fits the bill.

Worked great for my wiring needs
If fuses are required/recommended, these provide what is needed. No problems and okay wire size. Not recommended for heavy load applications.

They Get The Job Done
Nice quantity at the price. The wires inside are a bit thin which makes attaching them to anything a bit difficult. Think of just a couple fine hairs. You'll certainly have to make sure that there is no pull on the wiring as it could easily break the wires. Stripping the wires was a bit of a challenge even with the proper sized wire stripper. They don't like to twist with other wires and require either soldering or a very good wire crimp cap. Screw-on design secures the fuse nicely and there's enough tension on the springs inside to keep the fuse held very securely. Overall they're a decent product at a good price. Hard to argue with.

Avoid
How do you make a fuse holder that doesn't accept a standard 6mm fuse?! SMH. The barrel is way too small.

Perfect for Sega CD fuse mod
22 AWG is the perfect wire thickness to add a replaceable fuse to the F301 solder pads on a Sega CD motherboard. You can also get by with 20 AWG, but anything bigger is almost impossible to "make stick." Swapping a 5x20 fuse is so much nicer than constantly desoldering/soldering the system's death fuse.

good
just what I was looking for

OK
These will probably work but feel very flimsy and cheaply made.
