Works as it should; easy install
Works as it should and easy to install. I used it on a 24 year old Jenn-Air side-by-side fridge (JCD2289AES) to get a few more years out of it.

Relatively easy install, working well so far
Was having problems with freezer freezing up, fridge not cooling, and compressor constantly running.With some research narrowed things down to a malfunctioning defrost system. This item includes 2 of the defrost system components, the heating element + defrost thermostat (small black piece with the clip on it). Install was relatively straightforward and so far it seems to have fixed the problem and fridge/freezer is working well. Saved me from having to rush out and buy a new fridge.

Great part
Part looks brand new unlike a different brand I had to send back. Will stick to original parts from now on and not try to cut corners.Refrigerator runs great now with steady temps due to defrost working.

Defrost element for freezer
The icing up of the freezer fins has stopped. Very good. Very expensive for such a common kind of element. But, needed so had to pay.
