Perfect 270 Degree Angle, Low Profile that Fits, Works Well (but check if you need 270 or 90)
The media could not be loaded. This is a perfect 270 degree right angle connector cable. Unlike some other cables, and many angle adapters, this doesn't stick out too far in either direction, not too far past the head and not too tall. This is critical because if it stands too tall, like some others that stick out an inch or more, then it still sticks out the side and is noticeable or speakers still cannot sit flush against the TV edge. Also some TV ports don't have a lot of room beyond the port, and if the head of the cable sticks too far past the port, it doesn't fit, but this one fits well. As shown in the video, this fits with room to spare. If your TV is wall mounted, you will still have to pend the cable that sticks straight back and the amount of room might be tight depending on your TV.IMPORTANT: Pay close attention to which direction your port is facing, which will tell you which kind of right angle you need, 90 degree or 270 degree. An HDMI port looks like a letter "D", and note which direction the rounded side of the "D" faces. This cable works for ports where the rounded side faces forward where the cable runs in the opposite direction. Some call this cable 270 degree. There seem to be a lot more 90 degree cables out there where the rounded side is in the direction that the cable runs. I needed one where the rounded side faced forward, and after searching I landed on this cable. There are flexible adapters that can bend either way, but they usually stick out farther and tend to have poor reviews that report failure. I really needed this direction that this cable supports, and am very happy that it solves my need. This is a standard Video+Audio v1.3 HDMI cable. It only supports video+audio, which is standard for most people with cable boxes, DVRs, DVD or Blu-ray players, etc. But if you need this cable to carry a wired internet signal to your TV passing it through from some other device, then you should look for a v1.4 cable or a v1.3 that says "with Ethernet". This, being v1.3, also doesn't have what v1.4 adds -- 3D and audio-return. If you don't need the TV to send audio back to something like a receiver through this same cable, and if you don't have 3D, then you should be vine with normal HD video & audio. You can find more about HDMI specs on Wikipedia if you are unsure about differences.

Great cable!
I bought this cable to replace the HDMI cable I bought at Circuit City the day my HD-DVD player arrived. The cable I bought at Circuit City costed over $60 (w/ tax), and yet never worked properly (intermittent HDMI signal dropout-no picture). I ordered this cable by Tripp Lite to see if it was the Circuit City cable or the player that was the problem. It turns out it was the cable I got at Circuit City (NeXXtech), as this much cheaper Tripp Lite cable works flawlessly (and is much longer I might add, giving me more leeway with my component placement).I don't know if the NeXXtech cable was defective or if it was the noise reduction couplers on each end, but these Tripp Lites don't have the couplers and work great without them. Would definitely recommend the Tripp Lites.

Perfect!!
Got this 90 degree HDMI because the way my TV's hdmi's are set a normal 90 degree would not fit... It's kinda of annoying that there is no standard on how to position the HDMI from the manufacture. I went through 3 HDMI 90 degree cables before finding this one! This one is perfect. My HDMI's are on the side of the tv so having a normal cable was a huge eye sore to me... NOTE that the SMALLER tapered end of the HDMI cable is FACING you if you are in front of the TV, with the larger end facing the back/wall of the tv.It's exactly how the picture shows.-Nigel

Decent Cable for the Money
I bought this cable to complete an in-wall installation of a flat panel LCD TV. It provided decent picture quality, however I opted for a more robust HDMI cable for the next project, one that was individually shielded and more substantial.Overall a decent HDMI cable for a beginner getting into HD. There are better cables out there for the audiophile folks. If you are spending over $1000 for an HD TV, you might as well pony up and spend close to $100 for a higher quality HDMI cable. It's a good cable for the 2nd room or kids playroom.

I like it. Clicked in solidly and works flawlessly feeding ...
Arrived on time and packaged well. First impression was of how thick the cable was, at least twice as thick as the cable it was to replace. I am no expert so I do not know what is inside this cable as far as shielding and so forth. Robust to say the least, I like it. Clicked in solidly and works flawlessly feeding my 32" HD flat screen I use as my monitor.

Get's the job done!!
I have not noticed any inconsistencies with this cable. I have been purchasing Tripp-Lite cables again and again recently. For quality and price, I would rate them highly. This cable has not been faulty or problematic. It's not fancy! But don't let anyone make you believe HDMI cables ought to be.

These were NOT a real "locking" or "Gripping" connector
These were NOT a real "locking" or "Gripping" connector--it lacks the special tabs. See image. Also, there was no "TrippLight" name or logo on them.
