the words and slightly different ending ...must be the political correctness police..who didn't think that oscar wilde original was good enough

Love these stories by a great story teller, bought copies for my daughters to read because I enjoyed them so much. This is a cheap but well produced edition.

Again this is a classic, my grandchildren love it, I wish I had boughtthe illustrated edition.

These are a few children's stories by Oscar Wilde. The Happy Prince is a beautiful tale about compassion in action.The others are not very impressive , one might say peculiar to a modern child, as they were written in the Victorian era, but the Happy Prince does not date.Historically they demonstrate the range of Wilde's writings.
