Q: Is this compostable? If not, are forever chemicals used to make this nonstick?

The non stick is from a double sided silicone treatment. It is made from cotton fibers and biodegradable. I love it

Q: In the product description, it says " now ann clark is proud to offer pre-cut and reusable parchment paper". how is it reusable?

It’s reusable in that it doesn’t need to be discarded after a single use. 1)several batches of cookies can be baked one after the other on the same piece of parchment paper. 2) I wash mine by laying it on the bottom of my sink and wiping with my dish rag. I rinse and hang over a cooling rack, a couple of glasses, other such to dry. I put it up and use it for another couple rounds of baking.

Q: can i use this on a toater oven?

Dear Ann, I wouldn’t recommend it, but you can try it. I frequently use it in a regular oven to line a glass baking sheet when roasting vegetables. A toaster oven is more compact so if anything, the ‘wax’ coating on the paper my melt and taint the food.

I just finished one package and have two of them in my supplies. They all say "Made in France" and I do not see any indication of the USA you mentioned. The company address is in the USA so they are probably just the importers. I am always on the watch for anything made in China - especially food items.
