ConairMAN Hair Clippers for Men, 21-Piece Home Hair Cutting Kit

These are not anywhere close to professional clippers, but I can’t find mine, they’re somewhere in the attic. I needed to do a quick haircut, and these work for the job. They are not the best quality. These are not an investment. There are very few clips. You’re not going to be able to do the same things with them as a professional brand. They come with clips that aren’t really useful bc they are not able to hold a large quantity of hair, and very low quality scissors intended for hair but they are sheers. They are not sharp and they are not made the same as “scissors” for hair. This is generally just a diy at home haircut kit when you’re in a pinch. You could do a fade, if you really know what you’re doing & you’re able to go in with a fine tooth comb to finish it. But if you’ve never done that, there’s slim to none you’ll get the haircut you’re going for. You can use the guards and do a graduated haircut, but the most important part of cleaning up the hairline & actually getting it smooth & not choppy is still going to be based on your skill level. So if you’re thinking all you need is these to do a professional looking cut at home, you better know what you’re doing. I’ve worked with less, so it is possible to do a pretty good job, or if you just want a sideshave or something simple, these are super cost efficient, and the best part of the entire product is that the entire product fits in a plastic case that snaps closed & it’s small & compact and doesn’t take up too much space.

Love this clipper better than the Wahl brand I had purchased recently before this purchase, well this clipper set is way smoother and works so much better and doesn’t sound as loud. Glide like butter for the price it’s unbeatable. Easy 1-5 “open and closed” clipper buttons itself of the levers that usually do that function, just made it so much more user friendly for at home hair cuts. Super Easter to clean. And the cord is medium size. Very powerful but silent at the same time ! Love what it does to my hair compared to other clippers , it doesn’t pull or knick so easy.

I bought this Conair Clipper because I have had good results with Conair products in the past. And my old 15 year old Remington gave up the ghost. I'm using this for beard trimming only, but it does come with numerous hair cutting comb attachments. Pros: Compact and light weight. Very sharp blade which cuts efficiently in one pass (self sharpening). Three position onboard trim adjustment (great for beard work). Price. Cons: Cutting blade is a bit out of parallel to guard but doesn't seem to be a problem. Soft storage case is way too large for product and attachments (could be more compact, half the size). Lubricating oil leaked all over inside packaging. At this price point it's OK. But is short of 5 stars (some QC issues).

Best pair of clippers ive ever bought!

Conair quality has taken a steep dive. The previous set before these lasted over ten years, which arguably is still not long enough, but these lasted barely two. They came with a short cord and are very light compared to the previous ones, indicating a mostly-plastic (and therefore cheap and weak) construction.Performance wise they were not great either. The cut was weak and rough, if that makes sense, and required several slow passes before I could get a truly clean buzz. I lubricated them every 1-2 uses and they still managed to get painfully hot, not a pleasant feeling against my scalp.Finally tonight they met their end while I was...adjusting the top blade, of all things. I moved the lever, as it is designed to do, and something inside snapped. Now it won't adjust anymore, and when I turn them on the top blade flails back and forth wildly, making them quite literally useless. I am happy this did not happen in the middle of a haircut.I will never be buying Conair clippers again.

I had to give this 5 stars simply based on the price and quality alone... The clippers just arrived this morning and I have only used them once. So if for any reason, my opinion on these clippers change, I will be sure to change my review.Since I was a little kid, my mother had ALWAYS cut my hair... I am 25 years old and have never been to the barber... Now that I am married and lived 3 states away, I don't have the convenience of asking my mom to do it for me, however, she did send me off with a pair of her old used clippers... They were horrible and it would take me 2 hours minimum to cut my hair properly. Since I only cut my hair once every 2-3 months, I put up with it for a couple of years. I finally got fed up and bought these purely based on the price alone. I figured anything at this point was an upgrade from what I have.To make a long story short, I had no problems with these clippers. I got the job done in under 10 minutes. I simply just shave my head basically, let it grow out 2 or 3 inches and then shave again and for that kind of use, these clippers seem to do the job just right.I would highly recommend these clippers for anyone under the same circumstances... They might not be ideal for commercial use or anything outside of doing your own hair or family but who knows, I am not really an expert with hair clippers.
