Don't get me wrong--I like these bookends; the rendering of the old-fashion bellows camera and nostalgic rendering of the movie projector are tremendous (save for the slight over-use of bronze paint to accent the bellows camera.) But in the end, bookends are meant to hold books up on display, and these bookends just barely do the job as per their relative light weight. If they are employed to hold up four or five hardbound books, I'd say they do the job.

Both bookends, despite being encased in styrofoam, were broken and had to be thrown out. Total waste of money.

both pieces were left handed, so could not use them a set. Still liked them though.

The media could not be loaded.  These are cute but one arrived broken and both aren't heavy enough to really hold up my books. Very disappointed.

Bisogna ammettere che sono originali e troppo carini.Onestamente abbasserei il prezzo perché presentano diverse imprecisioni e sn anche piuttosto leggeri. Comunque fanno il loro lavoro e sono davvero carini!

These were bought as a present for me because I am a keen photographer and make movies too. I thought they were a little bit expensive, but when I got them, I was really pleased - they make me smile, they are unusual and VERY cute.They are 6 inches tall and I have displayed them (as per photo) with normal hardbacks and a ruler to show size. You have to place them the way they face as the backs are not the same although the back of the movie camera has got a bit of detail on, see photo.If you are buying for someone who loves cameras or photography I think this would make a lovely gift.
