Love these things on my Yamaha acoustic and they last months
I play daily and tend to wear strings out quickly just from use. The elixirs last a bit longer than uncoated strings and they also cut down on the squeaks you get when sliding your fingers on the string such as when moving through bar chords and doing slides.They aren't magic though and eventually get dirty and lose their sparkle and bite but it takes a month or two versus a few weeks for regular strings. I do wish they weren't so expensive though.

sick of changing strings too many timesget these. Probably works out to same $$ output overtime as regular strings but less changing .Particularly if you live in a humid environment.
