Great IDF or home rack at a good price point.
This NavePoint 9U rack arrived in pieces and went together with literally 4 screws. Very easy to put together. I then used some boxes to hold it up again the wall to mark my holes and used a level. I screwed it to the wall with some 4 lag screws size 3/8 in x 2 in (not included) and over my structured media enclosure since it ran out of space. It went on the wall without issue and straight in to studs. The media enclosure prevented me from using plywood. If you can't put it in to studs or plywood on studs, the rack too heavy to just rely on toggle bolts/butterfly anchors. Certainly, do not use drywall anchors. With it on the wall, it is very sturdy. The fit is good and the finish is thick. I'm not worried about scratching the finish. There are no rack unit numbers but they did include lines which is helpful. At 9U, we can just count.Other review mention having issues with rack screws, I did not have this problem. Maybe that issue has been fixed? The only downside I can find to this rack is they only provide you 12 rack screws. If you were to fill up 9U with 4 screws at each rack unit, then you'd need 36 screws which I feel should have been provided.Other than that, 5/5 would buy again.

Solid Wall Rack Proven to Work
I ordered this for a client's project after having been using the NavePoint racks for years. NavePoint racks are rock solid, reliable, and just downright sturdy when secured to a wall properly. These racks mixed with a rack shelf will hold UPS's, heavier PoE switches, and all rack mountable equipment. It's advisable to get NavePoint over some of the other no branded networking gear.

Strong well built 9u Rack
This is a great small rack for basic home or small business network needs. Easy to assemble and install. The rack uses screws to hold your components in rather than the cage nuts most units use. My only complaint is there are not enough supplied screws to bolt up more the 3u of spaces on a 9u rack. I have to go to the hardware store to match up the screws. Other that that, the unit is most useful.

Work great for my small home network
Ordered this since the structure wire cabinet my builder used was not large enough to mount everything inside the box. This rack allowed me to extend outwards my switch and cable router plus I was able to add in a power strip to the rack to power my switch, router, and storage device. We had no space above to mount on a piece of plywood so this works great for us. Also the assembly went easy and all the screws and screw holes fit okay and did not have any issues installing the shelf and power strip. Did not have to bore out powder coating like some users reported. This rack is good for small home networks and when we add security cameras I will be able to mount a larger switch to this and be happy.

A very nice rack for the price
The unit is light but sturdy, and I appreciate the 1U markings. The design is open and allows good access, excellent solution for small spaces or users with multiple pieces of equipment. (Not really designed for devices which require significant depth, however.)My one 'complaint' would be that I feel the current design relies much too heavily on welded joints at right angles -- some angled supports on the sides would drastically improve the capacity and dependability (fortunately, there are some pre-formed slots and holes which work well for this purpose, although it would be nicer if the manufacturer supplied this by default.)To directly address the two most common complaints I've seen in the comments:(1) There are no assembly instructions, I'm so confused.-- Really? There a four screws, and four holes (one in each corner.) Not to be insulting, but if this level of complexity requires instructions you have no business handling a screwdriver.(2) The provided screws do not work in the pre-drilled holes.-- I don't know what to tell you, mine worked fabulously.

High quality, sturdy, and easy to assemble
Purchased this 9U rack to upgrade from a smaller 6U rack. Very stable and sturdy, I'm quite happy with it. Note that if you are going to rest it on a shelf versus wall-mounting, there are screws on the bottom of the frame that will scratch the shelving, I put furniture sliders/grips on the bottom of the rack to prevent any scratching.

Great Rack, Bad Screws
So reason for buying these racks if because we are setting up intro to networking pods for High Schools, we needed something that could hold a PDU, Router and two Switches and have those items be spaced out. The rack itself is great, 9U of space for four devices, it was easy to assemble, but after we put it together we tried to install the PDU on the bottom of the rack and the screws it came with for mounting wasn't going in to smoothly. I took an electric screw driver to it and half was in the weak metal screw stripped the entire head. I had to take a pliers to get the screw out and the metal was so weak that chunks of the screw were shaving off while I tried to take it out. We had some spare screws sitting around so I dug around and found smaller screws and they worked but when we opened the others we order ALL of them have the wrong screws for mounting equipment, in order to get these racks to work we'll have to figure out the screw size of the ones I scrounged together and order those to fill ten racks worth of equipment. If only one of them had come with the wrong size screws I wouldn't care but all ten of the racks we ordered came this was and its an extreme hassle. The picture shows a screw that came with the rack on the left with a line under how far I could get the screw into the rack with a hand screwdriver. The screw on the right was one I dug up that fit, just barely. After I took it out it had metal shavings on it from either the rack or the screw itself since its might be the wrong thread size.

Decent rack for the price
This rack was about what I expected for the price. However, it does not use standard rack screws AND it came with only 6 inserts and screws (I needed about 30 and had to scramble to the local hardware store). It also has quite a bit of flex once loaded when wall mounted (does not stay square); to the point of where the side panels have to be "coerced" into place. Overall an OK rack if you are on a budget.
