Stopped working after second use
The construction looks good but stopped working almost immediately, I hooked it up to a computer and got it setup, I was going to use it as a camera for my microscope and by the second time when I rigged up the microscope the camera completely stopped responding. Started a return but missed the return window when I went on holidays so had a ceremonious trashing instead. Now I think twice before buying useless gadgets.

Nice camera but washed colors
Got this to have as a "desk camera" when doing instructionvideos. and it works quite nice. 30 FPSish is noticable so fast movements is not good. (actually it can be even 15FPS?) and colors are somwhat "washed out" but for the price it is good and can do good overview video as well as ok zoomed in pictures..only drawback is the slow update and bad colors.. but you have to think of the price aswell. hard to find a camera with optical zoom in a decent pricerange.

No auto-anything on this camera
I purchased this camera in order to live stream a wedding during the lockdown. For the price point, I was not expecting to have to manually adjust the focus, zoom, and saturation while simultaneously trying to host a zoom call. For recording from a fixed location/distance subject (e.g. for CCTV) this will be adequate as the camera can be focused and positioned in advance but please also remember there is no built-in microphone.

Good Focus and easy to set up
I used this as a secondary web camera to display a picture board that I was using in online work with people, it has a much higher resolution than my computer webcam, though it took me a while to position it appropriately, once I got that sorted, it's been great. I can switch between the computer's display of my face and this camera's display of the board.

Did not received support for a malfunctioning cable
Device worked as expected, but cable is malfunctioning. My question about the cable specification was not answered. Amazon sent me a message stating it is unlikely they will answer me. Therefore, I am frustrated with the experience of acquiring their product.

Not Good
Very think cable which makes it difficult to use with a stand.

Very nice quality optical zoom webcam
I really like this little camera!I had bought one of the neat little webcams with built-in mic, autofocus etc to replace an ancient webcam, but found that although it's excellent, it is just too wide-angle for my zoom meetings, in which I want to be framed roughly like a newsreader; head and shoulders, with little headroom. This little camera is satisfyingly heavy, made of metal, with a very nice glass lens with manual controls for zoom, focus, and aperture. If you are not very familiar with using such controls, this might not be the camera for you, but I grew up on those things! There is no built-in mic, which suits me because I already have a high-quality separate mic. It's a nice touch that the camera has a standard tripod screw thread on top and bottom, to facilitate mounting for a variety of applications. For my Zoom meetings, I have set it up on a tripod. In the photo with the lens chart, the camera is 1.4 metres from my face. At that distance, a lot of webcams would take in half the room! The high image quality over what I had been using before, was noted by one of the meeting participants, who is a technical guy.The better the lighting, the better the general quality of the image will be. In very low light situations, the camera might struggle a bit. And it's not suitable for wide-angle shots where, for example, you want to include the whole family in a chat - unless you have a huge room and can place the camera far away!.It comes with a nice sturdy USB lead, of good length. It is 'plug and play'; no problems at all with setup. The box includes a nice little full-colour instruction leaflet written in rather charming English that sounds friendly and as if they really want to be helpful!
