It's plastic. But it's adorable and tells the time! Works great and I liked the color and style as I have a kitchen that is retro.

Keeps great time. Has the cool retro / art deco look. You'd never know it is made out of plastic unless you took it off the wall. Has a very soft ticking sound that you can barely hear. Like many other reviews, I too found this pretty pricey for no more than this little clock ammounts to. If Amazon was full of cool, art deco-looking clocks like this, then I'm sure this price would be way too high. Its not. There are only a few. Supply and demand. If the style of the little cheap wall clock you're after is not a priority, there are a lot of less expensive choices out there and I wouldn't waste the money on this one. If you're after the cool, little art deco wall clock, then I highly recommend this.

The clock's color is as pictured and numbers are easy to read. So far, it's accurate I've had it a few weeks).The ticking is soft. Hanging it is easy on a nail, or a picture hook if you pull out the hook a bit more to hold the clock securely. But the plastic case is thin and cheap; don't drop it! I think it should be priced no more than $15-$20.

Bought this for my kitchen. Matched my old one. Numbers are big and easy to see.

I got this because I wanted a retro look, but the actual clock looked completely different. The face was bright white and the turquoise was so clear and bright it looked like it belonged in a baby’s room.I actually used wood stain all over it, which toned it down some. I even took it apart and stained the face.It’s now tolerable, but I am looking for something to replace it.Keeps great time, cute shape, and perfect if you want a clean bright color, but definitely not retro.

I got this clock for my kitchen. I have gotten more compliments on it. Even though it is plastic, you can't tell. And neither does it matter. Super cute for the money, I would tell anyone who wants it to go for it.

I have a somewhat retro style den, with browns and turquoise, and loved this clock when I saw it on Amazon. I was surprised by two things when it arrived...1) it's extremely bright shiny turquoise (looks MUCH more sedate in the picture) and 2) the plastic is very thin and seems very cheap (think Halloween mask, but a little thicker) and therefore I feel it's overpriced. (There's a similar clock in red at Target for much less.) Having said that, it's for my den, not my living room, and it definitely fits the retro look. Hanging on the wall, the thin plastic doesn't really matter. In that bright turquoise, it's become the unintentional focal point of the room, but I'm fine (and somewhat amused) with that.
