mCover Case Compatible for 2016~2018 11.6" Samsung Chromebook 3 XE500C13 Series Laptop Computers ONLY (NOT Fitting Any Other Samsung Models) - Clear

I schlepped my little Chromebook through hell and back for several months, and I've had this case on it since a week after I got it. It doesn't feel super sturdy, and it fits about 95% perfectly. That being said, it hasn't come off, and it doesn't seem to want to try and shift unless there's a lot of pressure on it. There have been situations I'm absolutely sure this case protected my Chromebook from scratches, yet it still looks like new. The little rubber pads on the bottom front popped off, but the adhesive was still good, so I was able to stick them right back on (I'm sure some superglue would completely solve the problem if it happens again). While the flip-up rear feet seem very flimsy, they haven't broken, and I do like the elevation it gives for the keyboard. I've gotten compliments on the case, too (the purple is still pretty striking, even over the dark gray of the Chromebook). All in all, this little case is probably not the best bet out there, but as long as you don't abuse it (seriously, it's protecting a small computer, just be careful anyways), it's a pretty darn good buy for the money.ADDITION: I've now had this case for about a year and a half. It has recently developed a small crack in the left front corner of the bottom shell. It isn't catastrophic, but being on a corner, it has slowly gotten longer, and I'll likely replace the case in a couple months. But again, there is zero damage to my Chromebook, and I still think this case does a more than fantastic job for just $20.

iPeal mCovers are great. I have 5 or 6 of them on different portable devices . This recent one is for the latest edition of a Samsung 11.6 Chromebook.It fits perfectly and really makes the portable look sharp. More importantly they really protect the device. It you have any kind of laptop and iPearl makes a cover for it, BUY IT!!!! You can't go wrong, I also recommend a screen protector also form any manufacture that makes one for your mode.

Great choice fits well with my laptop, and I am happy with the durability and what I paid for it. It fits my Chromebook laptop, and I have no complaints. It has stood on it so you can place it on a table or a mat and you have a great view on your laptop. Excellent choice and I love the color.

The good:Purchased for model: XE500C13-K04USGot the red - looks as pictured. Because the colors are transparent style, it mixes well over the black Chromebook color. I feel like the color choices they give are pretty good for your whatever style you are looking for.Price - Pretty decent. The quality for the price is pretty well. Doesn't feel like it will just "crack". Feels as solid as solid plastic can feel. This means you shouldn't be dropping it on the floor and expect protection from that. This still is literally a layer plastic that can only save from minor scratches from it being in your bag and being tumbled with sharp objects in there.Easy access to all ports.Does not get in the way of opening the lid all the way (180°).Cons:Holds fingerprints and oily smudges. Expect to be wiping it after you open it if you don't want to look "dirty" lol.The little stands feel sturdy enough right now, they don't kick back when I apply a little pressure to test it, but honestly, don't know how long it would last if a child were to be using that feature all the time. There is some movement/play on the corners of the bottom case when you initially open the stands and close it. So those corners might become weak.Of course, this is only good for scratch protection, not drop. But it does make it feel a bit more "protected" with it on when carrying it by itself.Overall I feel this product is good to have on the Chromebooks to help it as just a little cover. It is worth the ~$20 for it.

This hard case fit my Chrome Book perfectly. It was easy to snap on, and doesn't allow any wiggle room. Removal is also easy for when you want to wipe it down. It doesn't add any weight to your laptop. I purchased the black case, and it does show finger prints. So, if that's an issue with you, maybe the other colors would be better. However, if you were looking for ultimate protection, this is not the case for you. It is just a case to cover your laptop, no padding involved. This didn't affect my score, because I was just looking for a case with the little legs to let my laptop vent while sitting flat on a table or other surface.

Unfortunately Chromebooks are just not made as sturdy as they used to be. I've owned three and the newest one, Samsung Chromebook 3, 11.6", 4GB RAM, 16GB eMMC, Chromebook (XE500C13-K04US), is so cheaply made that the paint flakes off the exterior with little to no effort. The chromebook scraped up against the side of my night stand and the paint peeled off the corner. I started looking for some additional protection and decided to try one of these.So far I like this cover. It's two pieces with the top piece being solid and the bottom having slits to keep the chromebook from overheating. Both snapped into place and provides protection to the top bottom and corners. The pieces attach firmly and so far have stayed attached.The cover is not waterproof and it likely wouldn't prevent a lot of damage if you drop your pc. I just needed something to keep scratches, dings and dents at bay and for that purpose this works.I will likely purchase a couple more in different colors. My chromebook is black and the Aqua looks nice and gives the chromebook a different look.

I received this case in a timely fashion. Simple case in in two separate pieces that we sealed individually. No scratches on them. The case was received in excellent condition.Although the case does state it fits XE500C13 series Chromebook, it does not fit the XE501C13 series. The case is too small. I wish it fit my Chromebook, but it doesn't. If it wasn't for this, I would have kept the case.
