Traditional 72" Tall 15-Shelf Triple Wide Wood Bookcase in Dry Oak

This was the perfect solution for what we needed -- a large bookshelf, looks good, but didn't need to be a super-expensive piece of high-end furniture. This looks really nice and is very sturdy. It took a while to build, and you need some space for it. I took my time to make sure I didn't botch the job, and it came out well.

I spend a week looking for a solid wood bookcase with multiple sizes so I can fill my wall including under the window. Until I found this book case with average price. Definitely looks more expensive specially in the color I got that is Cherry. I got multiple sizes of this bookcase with same seller, put the taller on top of the shorter and screw the to the wall. The packages came fast but heavy, I got help for both assemble and lifting as I am not that strong. For sure need two people to handle. Looking forward to purchase another to fill the other side of the room. Totally recommend. Hope the picture helps. I am sure you gonna love this high quality bookcase.

This unit came in two separate boxes. They were both in relatively good shape when received. The contents were mostly intact and ready for assembly. The only excepation is that the front wood piece had become separated on one of the shelves. The dowels and the shelf were mainly undamaged except where some of the wood fibers had been pulled away from the shelf where there was previously a glue joint. I simply re-glued the dowels and wood trim piece back into place and there is no evidence of any issues.Assembly of the unit was straight forward and I was able to complete it in about 1.5 hours. As other have mentioned there is a serious lack of labeling of the parts but if you pay attention to the drawings in the instruction booklet, its fairly easy to identify what goes where. Once assembled, the bookshelf is very solid. The trim around the front and on the front of the shelves are real/solid wood. The rest of the unit except the backer board is made of an engineered wood product or, what I would refer to as particle board, but it seems very durable and the pieces are thick so I don't expect any issues with this unit lasting. The backer, as others have noted is basically cardboard covered in a veneer; but, does its job just fine.My only minor gripe about this unit is in regard to the condition of the pieces when unpacked. The Styrofoam used to protect the content is relatively rigid and creates a lot of Styrofoam "dust" that was all over most of the parts to this unit. This created a bit of a mess when unpacking and assembling and required a thorough cleaning of the unit after it was all put together.All said and done, I am happy with this purchase and, more importantly, my book collecting wife is happy with it!! I would recommend it to others if they needed a bookcase of substantial size like this and, if not, the smaller alternatives. The loss of a star is primarily due to the lack of labeling on the parts and the Styrofoam dust all over everything both of which are inconveniences but manageable.

I am really happy that I researched and purchased this shelf.It is sturdy and well made and just the size for what I need.Excellent value for many.Only concern is putting the shelf together, took me about 4 hours with some help in the end to put it together once I assembled the majority of the components.What I would suggest is to clearly mark the items with a sticker or sticky not before even attempting to assemble and put the pieces together. Once I did that it went super fast.

This was a terrible buy. First of all, I asked Amazon to deliver it to my door as the boxes were well over 80 pounds each... and they left them outside the building door and not at my unit. The wood pieces are terrible quality. Expect sawdust and splinters everywhere when you open the package. The quality of the nails and hardware is flimsy and awful and nothing stays in the wood- in fact we broke through the wood so much. The instructions were very poor- it took us over 10 hours to figure out how to build and construct this item. You need a drill for this bookcase even though the details will tell you that you do not. Both people building the item were injured in the process (broken nails, blisters, scratches, cuts, and bruises) from the items. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM unless you have some sort of professional helping you. I even called customer service to get help and they just never answered. I finally got the bookcase up but it required 4 new super glues, new nails, and the back looks unfinished and terrible. I would rather have gotten a refund and just thrown this in the trash- not worth the price

Very happy with the look. Easy enough to assemble (with 2 people and a power screwdriver). Once assembled it is very heavy and hard to move. If possible, assemble where you want it. You will need about 7 sq feet of floor space for assembly.

Product arrived with numerous scratches and chips missing. The pieces are warped causing difficulty in assembly. The entire bookcase is covered in off white powder that coated the room it was assembled within.Parts are mislabeled or not labeled at all.Not worth the price considering it’s constructed of particle wood. Too heavy to return. But it is a bookshelf so I will make use of it.

I’m happy with this purchase. It looks nice and seems to be sturdy. It took about 3 hrs to assemble, two people required.
