Works well, easy install

I installed this on my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 with a factory seven blade trailer connector. It only took about 15 minutes and was plug and play. The connectors fit well and the cable was longer than I needed, but fit great. I just coiled the excess cable under the truck with the zip ties that come in the package. This was way easier than trying to splice in a new connector and the price was good considering the wire is good quality. I recommend this to anybody who wants to put a second plug in the bed of a Dodge truck so they can use a goose neck or fifth wheel trailer and still have the plug in the bumper for a bumper pull trailer.

great fit, works very well

I was skeptic of this at first after reading some of the review about saying how it was too short or that it took so long to install. Well let me tell you, I used this, as it was supposed to be used to create a socket for my gooseneck trailers. The install took me about 15 minutes to complete. (granted I am a proficient handy man) The wire was more than long enough to complete the task. I don't see how some people ended up with a cable too short. unless they were putting the plug at the front of the bed....which makes no sense, nor does it follow the instructions. Overall, very easy install, and am very happy with it.

Ordered 56071 but they shipped 56070 so sent it back and second times a charm. Product was great and install was straight forward. Seems like a quality product.
