Completely satisfied
This renewed compact Makita router is amazing. It looked new when it arrived and the performance is fantastic. Plus I saved a whole lot of money. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a compact router. Note this is the first router I have ever owned.

Definitely a used router but everything works
I've bought "Refurbished" stuff before and most seemed like they were brand new - probably return merchandise. This one, looks like it has had some use. But hey; it worked like new and besides its going in my Router Table where I won't have to look at it.

Works well for my needs and was reasonably priced
I received my router on May 25th, 2022 and when I opened it I found the base plate was cracked.. I contacted the seller and advised him of the problem and he said he would send me another base plate out that day. I received the new base plate on May 29th. I was very sattisfied with the service I received I would order from this seller again. I use this router for shaping the back of guitar necks that I make. It works very well for my purposes.

Liked precision milling of router parts. Easy adjustable height. Speed control is good. Would like to have 3/4 bit capability.

Low Speed Settings Will Wreck the Router.
It is a nice trim router, BUT. . . .reading the docs indicated that using the low speed settings will (notice, not "can") cause the unit to fail. Huh? What? Why do they have have and advertise low speed settings if they will wreck the unit? I bought this unit reconditioned at a good price, so I will run it at low speed until it fails. I need that low speed.
