Earth Friendly

I Love this Product! I've been using it, since it became available. It's an excellent substitute for Chlorine-based cleaners, and laundry additives. I use in more ways than I can count.A Warning though: (when opening it, especially the first time), wearing a mask covering nose and mouth is Strongly Recommended, as the powder does become unsettled, and may affect one's respiratory tract. I personally, do wear a mask when opening it). It can be used in all kitchen cleaning, and disinfecting needs, ditto for all bathroom cleaning needs; I also add it to my laundry, along with its Detergent, to both Disinfect and assist the detergent in lifting the dirt off the fabric.A long time ago, I did use its Chlorine counterpart, for the exact same purposes, then when this (Hydrogen-Peroxide-based) product became available, I switched, and have never regretted it. (When doing laundry with it, I do recommend using a small portion (on the bottom of the washer, and lining it with clothes you don't mind getting discolored, (such as underwear), then, placing your other clothing over that layer. You can buy commercially-made cleaning products, which mix detergent with this (or its competitor's) powder, but it's a lot costlier, than mixing it yourself, and storing it on Spray bottles, available at Janitorial Supplies, and some Drugstores. There's no need to use more than 1/8 the measuring cup which comes with it, as the product is potent enough to be effective, with very little of it. For the price of the tub, you'll have enough for at least 6-months-worth of filling Cleaner bottles, for Bathroom \ Kitchen, and laundry household needs. (Just imagine all the single-use Plastic cleaner bottles you're avoiding disposing of, using this! It would also cost far more than $30., for all those bottles, in a 6 month period).Highly Recommended, and Yes, I DO Recommend it to anyone who'll listen to me.Just one comment: Be prepared to accept that Caregivers, and Housekeepers will give you weird, disbelieving looks, when you instruct them to use your own home-made cleaning/disinfecting supplies, not their usual familiar brands, but who cares? I'm helping save the planet!

Washing clothes

This Oxo Brite, makes the laundry quite bright, and the whites are dazzling, almost blinding. Read the label, do the laundry and get a few pats on the back for a job well done.
