Replaced the wireless MS 5000, Good choice
Standard success for Microsoft. Simple keyboard with ergonomic design . Really works fine for my PC with Windows 10. No set up required. Just plugged in and it works excellently. Good feel to the keys and response is great. Not a big fan of the mouse because the sensitivity is off. Even using careful experimentation with the settings I just can not get the mouse to respond how I like it. It works ok but all the time the auto-scroll clicks on and often it just won't scroll with the wheel at all. Spent a lot of time trying to adjust this feature to no avail. Just coping with it. Overall the keyboard is well worth the price regardless of the mouse.

the split space bar is everything.
This is my third one of these keyboards. I by it specifically for the split space bar that can be turned into a back space. This is such a time saver, once you teach your thumbs to use it. The only drawback is that the letters wear off. I fix this by painting them back on until the keyboard quits. This last one seems to lose contact with my computer. But the computer is a little old and buggy.

Looks elsewhere for your sculpt replacement, this thing sucks
I have used the Microsoft Sculpt keyboard over the last many years, replacing it about once per year as the scroll wheel on the mouse went bad. It was a very comfortable and responsive keyboard. This new one sucks. It's heavier, the keypad is now attached to the keyboard, the keys action is far heavier, the keys feel crowded and the curve of the ergo keyboard is less pronounced and less useful. Feels less like an ergonomic keyboard than a bent flat keyboard. The mouse is nothing like the previous ergonomic mouse, it is not ergonomic at all, and yet it manages to be much heavier and not as easy to use.I spend many hours of everyday on this keyboard and cannot express how incredibly disappointed I am that the original sculpt is discontinued, and this unresponsive, overly heavy, non-ergonomic pile of plastic is to take over. I would strongly recommend looking at the Perixx PERIDUO-606A or some other option, this is not a worthy successor and is not a good substitute for a flat keyboard.

Nice keyboard with annoying delay
I like the keyboard as far as comfort. It took a few days to get used to the shape, but I've had less trouble with my wrist since I started using this keyboard. The main problem with this keyboard is that there is a delay in it's reaction time. Every time I select a new window or start typing, I have to repeat the first keystroke because the initial key press doesn't transmit to the computer. If it were not for this annoyance, I would give this product five stars. Such is Microsoft though.

Not too happy
I got this keyboard exactly 4 month ago and the lettering on the most-used letters have already worn off the keys. This keyboard replaced a previous equal model which served me well for several years. There simply is no excuse for the lettering wearing off this quickly. The keyboard is not heavily used.

Best keyboard ever
I love this keyboard so much that I have purchased it multiple times for multiple offices and for home. It is smooth, not noisy, and ergonomic. I've even debated buying an extra to keep on hand just in case.

First one died just after a year, the second one died after a couple months
This keyboard was purchased twice because it did the job and was comfortable, but died after about 13 months of use. The second one was used for only a couple months before the space bar and other keys stopped working. Checked the batteries, drivers, etc. and it was just broken. Went to check on product support on the Amazon site and it showed a link to the Microsoft support site that was broken and showed a 404 error page. I navigated all over the Microsoft support site and could not find the place to submit a support case for this product. When I called the Microsoft support phone #, it sent me back to the website and ended the call.Because I could not get the second one serviced after it stopped working after only a couple months, I just gave up and bought another model instead.I am an IT guy with 18 years of experience and will never recommend this specific product to anyone.
