Roland88-Key Digital Pianos-Home (F701-LA)

Have owned a couple different versions of the roland uprights and i've always been pleased, this one is no exception. Quality build, good packaging, great sound for an entry level. Takes up very little space, so it's great for a tight area or a kid's room. The top of the unit folds to cover the keys, which protects them and gives the piano a nice console table-like aesthetic.Easy to assemble, just mind the steps and the order you assemble the keyboard, the legs and the cross member for the pedals. Before you tilt it upright.

Read a lot of reviews for digital pianos, to replace an older Kawai that got fried in a brown-out. Roland seemed the better choice this time around. Hemmed and hawed about ordering it which turned to be a good thing as when I finally decided to go for it (approaching Xmas) it was $200 off, woot!I chose this model for the sleek, modern styling and it is just stunning. Sounds great, too, though I've not yet delved into anything beyond the basic grand piano sound.Definitely a bugger to assemble, 2 people almost a prerequisite, though there's a youtube video of one guy doing it. Plenty solid enough once it's done.A beautiful addition to any home.

I have a degree in music composition, though that is not my career. Part of that degree had a piano proficiency component, but admittedly, I lost my proficiency in not touching a piano for over 10 years. I bought this to teach my young children music, and to become proficient once again. The piano is simple and amazing. Flawless and looks great. The bench is comfortable and easily adjustable. The selection of voices is excellent and the menus are easily navigable. The volume control is easy to change and understand. I love that it has a headphone jack. This has been one of my favorite purchases I have ever made on Amazon.

Roland digital pianos have a long earned excellent reputation from professional musicians. And this one provides an unmatched real piano feel and sound that defies it's price. Highly recommended.

It was packaged great. The delivery was smooth enough. The keyboard is amazing and have no issues with it. It was easy to put together.

I wanted a piano for my dining room with minimal depth that would rest flat against a wall without a gap, and the Roland F701 fit the bill perfectly. I love that the key cover slides and also works to hold sheet music up. My daughter is learning how to play the piano on this and it is going great!
