Wrong mounting kit for R107 on rear shock or a bad compromised universal kit
The mount for the top upper rear shock diameter is too small and should be tapered on the side to match the bottom of the cup and somewhat flat on the top.Using the rubber bushing that came with it would not correctly center the the top of the shock or fill the cupon the cars body made to receive this.The shocks appear to be correct but not the mounting hardware kit.This is suppose to fit a 1980 450SL according to Amazon
