Good replacement for 2003 Acura MDX
Fixed the power steering pump whining noise in my 2003 Acura MDX. Very easy fix with a basic socket set. There are a lot of videos on YouTube for this repair. Replaced about a month and 1000 miles ago. Nice that this pack comes with an extra set in case you drop one in the engine compartment like I did. Also refilled with Honda genuine power steering fluid; I got the three pack just in case but only used one bottle and have not needed to add more yet. Problem has not returned.

If your PS Pump starts to "growl / whine" during cool weather start-ups, these very well may cure it. It a pretty simple item to replace, and give a try, before condemning a power steering pump. It takes about 15 minutes with a 10mm socket and open-end wrench to replace.
