Great GPU-but, not a great value
This GPU is quiet and powerful. I sort of bought it on impulse, and $$$ per frame ratio is HIGH. I love it though, and I finally have a top tier card. Right now I'm just waiting on my new monitor to arrive, my trusty 1080p monitor is crying. Overkill is an understatement. I also had to upgrade from a 600w to 850w PSU. That's the thing...it's not just the new GPU. If you're upgrading from an older setup, you might have to purchase other items in order to use your high end GPU. One thing that may help others that get this card. There are no instructions anywhere about the VGA setup. This card (Nitro+ SE) has two 8 pin and one six pin connectors. You need to make sure your PSU has three separate VGA leads for each connector on your card. I originally connected one 8 pin lead, then connected the next 8 pin socket with another lead, and then connected the jumper off of it to the last 6 pin socket on the card, thinking that would work. At first boot I was horrified when I got no signal out. The RGB on the 6900 xt didn't even light up, so I knew it must be a problem with the power. I quickly realized that it must need a separate lead for the last 6 pin socket, and after rewiring it properly it booted up properly (whew). I can't be the only one that this has happened to, and I think they should have noted this in the sparse instructions that were included. It's also a very big card. But, for it's size, it's relatively light. It's a triple slot card and measures12.20" x 5.29". So consider that if you want to get one.

Great thus far
For my AMD cards I've always gone with Sapphire, always had no problems and did a great job. Sadly I bought it at the beginning of price drops, not much I can say about that.I don't have any problems and over all works out just great for me and in my case, since I do use a Full Size tower so no problems with getting it to fit for me. Though the bracket, do wish they were better at the time of purchase.I use dual monitor setup, 32" WQHD Curved and an SDR 23" in Vertical for some work space. For GPU performance it is doing a good job on that, everything runs beautifully and smooth. Haven't come across any problems with the driver/software or any crashes yet. I've been using it on games from 20 years to today without any problems. Though I haven't had a chance to use it with any of Graphical editing or CAD work yet. Though don't expect any problems with those.

Monster graphics card with a great look
With the recent drop in GPU prices, this card is actually a decent value if you can get it for under $800. Coming from my long-standing 1080Ti, if you’re looking for a well-built, quiet 6900 XT that looks great, it’s hard to go wrong with Sapphire’s offering. Big thumbs up to Monoprice for the great price and quick shipping. Haven’t tried a ton of games yet, but I got 120fps in 1440p with ray tracing on in DOOM Eternal (quite surprising for an AMD card) and 170fps with it off. All settings on maximum. Temps stay right around 75 degrees. If you’re a benchmarking enthusiast, sure, green team might come out better, but if you’re willing to give AMD a try, they have a truly excellent offering here.

I can see clearly now!
If you play DCS, this is the perfect GPU. I know they'll be some that disagree, it does what it needs to do for me. It's much more affordable now too.

I've seen jumps across the board on all my games. switching from a 3070 ti. the only real issue is the cost of the card

Great card bad price
While it's true this card is far above MSRP of the base 6900xt if you add in the 25% tariff and the fact that this is the special edition, it's realistically only about $400 or so over MSRP for what should be around a $1300-$1450 card. The tariffs are the real gouge but still, with everything short if this gets under $1600 you should consider it. I hate that I overpaid but I can be happy it wasn't double what it should be sold at without the shortage as the tariffs would have still massively priced up the card to at minimum $1300. Also be warned, this card is MASSIVE, I vertical mounted it to prevent sag, it's a 3-3.5 slot card and very long, a larger case is REQUIRED.
