MRE (Meals Ready-to-Eat) Genuine US Military Surplus with Menu Selections (Asian Beef Strips)

We purchased 9 meals of various menus and used them for a week long backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon. Every meal was delicious. The deserts, drinks and snacks were all great. Not one bad item. It was kind of fun opening them every day to see what we would eat. We left our stove at home and tried using the flame-less heaters to heat coffee but this did not work well. Bringing a small stove along for coffee and tea will work great. Delivery was fast..

Menu #22 Asian Beef Strips, This MRE is easily in my top 5 MRE's list, I walked away from this meal not even wanting to think about food how full I was this meal came with the Asian beef strips and rice, a chocolate chip cookie, snack bread with peanut butter and jam, and the usual accessorie packet and beverage base I recommend this meal to anyone that hasn't tried this before it's amazing! All of the items in this MRE was great, i had started with the chocolates and they were phenomenal. Then the white wheat snack bread with the chunky peanut butter and jelly was delicious. Though you needed to knead the packet of peanut butter i still enjoyed it very much so. The fried rice and asian style beef strips with veggies were very tasty. Haven't tried the hot cocoa or coffee yet. But i wish this came with better instructions for how to properly heat up the food with the given heater.

My first delivery was lost in the mail and I reached out to the seller (Kevin). He responded the same day and sent a replacement. He was very response so I commend their customer service. The MRE was awesome too and it was everything I could have hoped for as it my first time to try one. The FRH heated my food and I ate every last bit of what’s in the bag. Felt happy that I finally got to try it. Will order again soon. Thank you Kevin for the Apple Cobbler. I liked it and much appreciated.

I personally did not eat this meal. (Asian beef strips) I bought it for my 11year old. She thought the flavor of the food was Okay, considering. My then, 17 year old son, had previously bought one, and he thought it was pretty decent. I Will be buying more in the future, because they want to try them all!

Great Product. Fair size on the entreè for it's price. The whole meal was nice to open up like a gift and sealed well. I recommend heating by putting the heater between the two packs, other than that the instructions are pretty clear and concise. The bread That came with the PB&J was pretty soft and was actually not bad. The loss of a star is because of the miserable excuse of a "cookie" they include in this package. It's not even about freshness- It just tastes AWFUL.

Product arrived promptly and in fantastic condition. The Asian beef strips tasted great, sort of like a Campbell's beef stew, with bamboo and water chestnuts instead of carrots and potatoes.

We ordered this for my 10 yr old to try because he was curious about what the soldiers ect. have to eat and how they eat. He enjoyed his MRE and was so excited about this one and wants to have more now for camping and things like that. So from now one I think I'll be getting these as gifts for him. Sellers are awesome with everything thank you!
