Best primer for models
I was using Vallejo. I had problems with it. And many other people don't like it in the model building world. I looked up what Badger had to offer after reading about someone using it.This stuff is awesome. Lay's down smooth. Spray right out of the bottle. No need to thin. Sands easily and can be built up a bit as long as you let the coats dry. Wets sands nice as well.

Sprays right out of the bottle easily.
Great primer, especially if you are new to the airbrush game as it is literally ready to spray. I see that phrase in a lot of airbrush paint descriptions and it is generally misleading as most of them need to be thinned to some degree, but Stynylrez primers are super thin. I’ve sprayed them out of an .03mm with ease and I typically shoot primers with an .05mm because they tend to be thick. They can also be brushed on if need be. A couple thin coats with the bristles and you’re good to go.

Quality product!
Incredible coverage, quality, durability, and it works so well! One of, if not the best, airbrush primers available. Easy to apply, and it didn't require any thinner.

Great primer, but a pain to clean out of airbrush.
This is a very solid primer with a fast drying time so I could get to work quickly. I had no issues with it peeling off, rubbing off or adhering to my minis, and paint took to it very well once it was dried and ready to work on- I use a very wide range of products; from Abteilung 502, AK, Citadel, Golden, Liqutex, and Testors with no issues from anyone of them. Sprayed fine from the airbrush with no thinning, and went on smooth. Now my biggest complaint and issue. It is a pain, I mean a huge pain to clean out of said airbrush. I tried Iwata cleaner, 99% isopropyl alcohol, nail polish remover, even windex with no luck. After asking around on YouTube a fellow informed me that he only had luck with lacquer thinner which isn't something I keep on hand indoors or use due to the smell. I did manage to get it out after tearing the airbrush apart and allowing it to soak in the 99% isopropyl alcohol and some scrubbing with very small cotton buds. This is a brush-on primer from here on out.

Best acrylic airbrush primer, if not the best period
I bought this for use with my airbrush, which I use for painting 3D-printed figures and models. These primers come in the three standard colors, which is realistically the only colors you'd ever need for primer. They recommend a 0.5 airbrush without thinning, so that's what I do. These spray great through a 0.5mm airbrush. It goes on kinda ugly, but it dries beautifully. It self-levels, and it preserves details really well. It also dries quickly. The best part is that it sands really well, allowing you to do further surface prep. I would say these are the best acrylic airbrush primers period, beat out only by lacquer primers like Mr. Surfacer. But those have an unfair advantage since lacquers work better with an airbrush to begin with. Plus, they have to be thinned. These Stynylrez primers are ready to go right out of the bottle, no thinning necessary.

Really Good Stuff!
I have mostly used Vallejo primers. Which are really good and I do love Vallejo. I got this set of primers because they were cheaper, and I had heard good things. I have to say these primers have impressed me. I used a few old D&D minis to do a paint, durability, and a stripping test.First, stynlrez has a more matt finish then other brands, second it proved just as durable, and then I did a quick rough paint job, and the paint seemed to stick as good if not better then other primers. Finally, I stripped them in Purple Power for 30 hours. Other primers I have used in the past just fall off after this treatment. Not this primer. I scrubbed with a brush and this primer would not let go. I let set for another day, and then the primer started to come off, but not all. In the end it took 4 days soaking in Purple Power to remove this primer. This stuff is durable, and has great paint adhesion! I would argue that Badger Stynlrez Primer is on par if not slightly better then Vallejo primers (I especially like the matt finish), and recommend it for miniature painting.

High Quality product from a trusted company
First off, I use these to prime 28-32mm miniatures for painting. I play loads of games from boardgames to RPGs to the great and terrible Warhammer 40k. I purchased these to try to use with my USB airbrush as an alternative to rattle can priming(its cold here, now) and to getting out my full airbrush setup.I am delighted to say they work really well. They have smooth coats and even doing zenithal or top down highlights, they look even and smooth. I use GW and army painter acrylics and they attach fine. I will say the speed paints and contrast paints are another product worth looking into and pair well with these primers. My only advice and its not a criticism, these are listed as working right out of the bottle...and in my main airbrush they do. They do need to be thinned a bit for my USB brush. I actually now thin them in both setups just because I prefer them to be even smoother than they already are. These also seem to respond well to the airbrush cleaner and end of shift activities are faster with this primer than other similar products. This is a product I'll continue to use, I also use vallejo surface primer and find these to be fairly interchangeable.
