I received the RED version of this jack as a gift. The packaging for mine was packaged by someone that for sure didn't want the box to come apart. Each plastic banding strap had packing tape to prevent it from sliding. I honestly haven't seen something packaged this good in quite some time.Assembly wasn't too bad except for installing the foot pedal to operate the pump. The bottom of the foot pedal that rides on top of the spring is made too small, so installing the pivot pin was real PIA! Ended up having to place the jack on top of a metal table and use a large C clamp to push the piston down far enough to install pin.One thing I noted was that from the floor to the top of the plate, it raises to 68", not the 70" I believe they are advertising. We also ended up removing the chain brackets & chains because they were constantly in the way. The jack did perform well when removed/installed an automatic trans from an 05' T-Bird.

Not bad but not great for the price. The box was destroyed when I got it. There were no instructions, we had to look at the pictures on Amazon to try and figure out how it went together. Some parts had fallen off and we luckily found them by shaking out the box. The step pump what installed backwards, so in order to be able to use it my husband had to take it completely off, flip it and reinstall it.
