Forget $200 to show up and $100 an hour for Sewer Scoping!
I paid a plumber $500 to look at and film my clogged sewer line. He came out to the house, scoped and videoed the inside of the pipes. He found a clog. He showed me the video and I couldn't see a thing. He would give me the video if he cleaned the clog (more money) or sell me the video if I want a copy to show another plumber. I was looking on Amazon and there were a huge amount of Sewer Scoping machines. I purchased this Vevor machine because of features, price, I have other Vevor tools that have served me well. Within hours of receiving the Scope my wife and I scoped the sewer line the plumber had scoped. we took a video of the scoping and played it back on our computer. We found the obstruction. We then used our Vevor electric sewer snake and knocked out the clog. The cost for the equipment was less than one plumber visit. We have since helped a few neighbors with similar problems. We figured we have saved a couple of thousand dollars so far and the equipment is as good as new. The only thing I would caution the user about is treat this scope very tenderly because a professional plumber, at a neighbors house, used his $1500 scope as a "Snake" and broke his camera and left part of the whole line caught in the pipe. It turns out he tried to "force" it through sand in a collapsed cast iron pipe. If you encounter anything obstruction or clog, stop and take care of it. Don't try to force the camera through the obstruction. This is a wonderful machine. I would recommend this to any and all DIY people and maybe a professional. By the way the plumber tried to charge the neighbor for his broken Scope.

Spend your money wisely!
I purchased the vevor drain inspection camera just over a year ago, and I am thoroughly disappointed with its performance. Initially, it seemed like a great investment for my plumbing needs, but it has turned out to be a complete letdown. After only a few months of occasional use, the camera started to exhibit problems. The image quality deteriorated significantly, with blurry visuals and frequent disconnections. I followed all the care instructions, stored it properly, and used it as intended, but it seems like the quality just isn’t there. Now, just one year in, the camera has practically become useless. It refuses to connect to my device, and when it does, the battery drains within minutes. I attempted to contact customer support for help, but their response was slow and unhelpful. They suggested troubleshooting steps that I had already tried, and ultimately, they just offered to sell me a replacement part instead of addressing the core issue. For a product that was marketed as durable and reliable, I expected much more longevity. It's frustrating to invest in something that doesn’t hold up over time. I would not recommend the vevor drain inspection camera to anyone looking for a dependable tool. Save your money and look for a more reliable option!

Sewer camera works as advertised.
It arrived in a rugged cardboard box with no damage and even came a few days early. This is my first sewer camera and I like it very much because the view of my 6" sewer pipe under my basement floor looks great. It takes good pictures and videos. I had no problem pushing the camera 50' into the pipe and inspecting my pipes. The instruction manual is written in broken English but you should be able to figure it out. Also, the writing on the 6 control buttons is very small and difficult to read. I had to make my own readable labels for each button. It is a good deal for the money but it seems to be very fragile so I recommend to treat it with "Kit Gloves".

Great value
Bought this sewer camera to inspect the drain tile around my foundation. It works exactly as described and got the job done. Great value compared to other more expensive sewer cams that do the same thing. High quality and very user friendly. The image quality is great and the built in lights are bright making it easy to see inside the drain. Highly recommend.

Camera head is not water sealed.
Edit: I reached out to the company and they shipped a replacement camera head free of charge. The new head worked as expected. The replacement head was shipped from China and as such took two weeks to reach me. That is two weeks with a project essentially at a stand-still. The camera does work great now and I was able to complete what I needed it to do with ease once I had a working product to do so. Amending my review from 1 star to 3 stars due to the company rectifying the issue for me.Original review: Works well for the first 15 minutes before the camera optics begin heavily fogging on the inside obscuring the image to a blur. Unit was not submerged. Unit was inside a sewer drain line and was in contact with residual water being used as intended. Could not complete the single job I purchased it for. Waste of time and money.

Easy to Use
This was very easy to set up. Simply plug in the charger and the camera cable to the display, then turn on the display and you are good to go. The cable appears to have the perfect balance of stiffness and flexibility. Made a short trial run and everything worked well. In about a month I will put it to the test but for now I am happy with it.
