Kenwood Spatula Attachment For Planetary Mixer For Pastry AT511,Black

I love this Spatula. Made a Blueberry Coffee Cake yesterday. Blueberries came from my yard, so were nice a warm. Used this Spatula to fold the berries in and not one was broken. For me this is a game changer!!

My machine is about 20 years old, so doesn't have a 'folding' speed. I have only used this about 3 times and I have to say, using it it on minimum speed, it does a better job than I can do manually. I did need to change the shaft to the alternative, supplied one (for older machines), and you need to adjust the height so it works optimally.

Item arrived on time, tried it on my machine it fits, looking forward to using it.

I got this as I really don't like folding things in. It's pretty good if, like me, you're not very good at it. However I do usually need to stop it halfway through & scrape the edges of the bowl down, then let it finish. I should imagine that folding in by hand would be better if you're really good at it.

Very good at what it does; it did not come with my Kenwood Chef so had to buy it separately. A bit expensive but still cheaper than buying from the manufacturer and it's a genuine part. Very happy with it

I was prepared to think this would be a gadget that would end up at the back of the cupboard. How wrong I was! It is superb :-D . I could never get the gist of folding mixtures but this beauty just mixed the lightest of puddings ☺
