Perfect Commuter Bike
What can I say, this bike is amazing.I needed a bike to get me to and from work, but didn’t want to break the bank. This bike is very affordable, but also very well-made. The assembly was quick and painless thanks to the very-easy-to-follow instruction manual. It comes mostly assembled, and they give you all the tools you need to finish putting it all together. It’s light, quick, and extremely easy to handle. It’s so much fun to ride. It’s light weight makes it super easy to carry up and down the two flights of stairs into my apartment, and it’s sleek design means that it doesn’t take up much space either.I’m extremely happy with this bike and would happily recommend it to anybody looking for a daily commuter, or even just something to take out on the weekends.

The best bike you will ever buy!
So happy with this Solé bike! It looks great and is a really smooth ride. It's light in weight, but built tough. AND the customer service from the Solé team was amazing. The legends at the Solé Venice store were super helpful in working out my size and allowed me to test ride a few different options. My specific size wasn't in stock but it was so easy to buy through Amazon and have it shipped direct to my house. Shipping on time too. Actually, delivered early! Once it arrived, the Sole Venice crew were able to build the bike for me and get me on the road. Very grateful and so happy I made the decision to buy a Solé bike.

Cheap at best
If I could do a no star review, I would. LOOKS good in pictures and at first glance. Cheap non-Chromoly steel frame, substandard parts. Just looks slick to a novice bicyclist. Not Amazon's fault. A waste of money and one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. DON'T!

Amazing ride! Highly recommend!
The Ballona is the perfect bike for commuting in your neighborhood. I absolutely love it!!! The bike picks up speed fast and has been a really smooth ride. What I love about the bike is the fact that it is so lightweight, it's really easy to maneuver, and has been so fun to ride around town!I am 5'6" and purchased the 52cm frame which is just the right fit for me. The bike doesn't come with a kick stand so I recommend buying one. The assembly of the bike was so easy, it only took about 30 minutes.

Good bike.
I feel happy with the purchase because the bike is like I saw it in the publicity. But, first you did not send the grease to me and then one of the hex wrenches was imperfect in the tip and I could not use it. I had to ask someone to cut it for me to use it.

A little too pliable for my expectations. Some QA/QC issues
I had high hopes for this bike, and perhaps that's my fault, but I don't think entirely. This was the lightest single speed i could find in this price range having already owned some of the competitors. This s however my first ever mail ordered bike.Well, first thing I notice after opening, was the rest wheel was mounted already, and that satisfaction was taken down a peg when the valve cap and ring were missing. They were present on the front wheel. What I didn't notice was that the rear was tensioned well passed the acceptable amount of ugga duggas. Like, my first riding attempt was 100 feet of listening to everything surrounding that axel being mutilated mercilessly. It started out silent and then got very vocal about my riding habits. I also noticed in time (I'm a mechanic) that i was about to warp said axel. Left rear dropout was beginning to curve while tightening the bolts because that side dropout was bent inwards. Got both bolts tight and now I was off center. Now I fixed that by forcing the frame out by backing out the bolt holding the bearings in place while the wheel was mounted. Not what you want to do with a brand new "boutique" bike. But it was already here and I liked the Yankees paint job. The fork was off a bit horizontally. Doesn't fork steer just wears my front tire unevenly. But like it or not the rear is still slightly offset. Okay, ever seen a Chihuahua in full gallop and it looks like their hind legs are trying to pass their front but somehow the dog is still running straight? That's good the bike looks. I can remedy that, but I could've gotten the wally world garbage if I wanted to fix something brand new.Oh and those shiny neck components, the unmitigated gall to advertise what lookd like brushed stainless, and it's clearly cast aluminum rougher than my last relationship. If I didn't know how to do some cold metal work this thing would look like it was very very slowly going through a car wreck. Way more flexion than I want from a road bike. I mean the Yankees paint job the only reason this thing got a courtesy 3rd star. Now I hung a click shifter and a decent rear derailleur, so it looks more like Solé bike or Borg, and I'm gonna have to do some more frame flexing for the rear 7 speed wheel but if itd gonna be a project anyway, night as well turn it into a hybrid gravel bike.Oh and both 85psi kendas started slightly bulging at about 65 psi so hauling buns downhill makes her angry enough to try to toss you at speed.Update; after further review, this bike is even worse than I made it out to be.

Great value
I needed a cost effective simple commuter bike for my son going to college. There were literally no bikes in stores due to depletion from pandemic buying.Other on line bikes were months out for delivery. I ordered from Sole and had the bike within a week. It came 90% assembled. Assembly took 20 minutes. My son loves the bike. It’s incredible quality and at a reasonable price point for a fixed gear commuter. Well made and stylish but not overly flashy. Highly recommend.

Terrific bike; better customer service
My Solé single speed is a terrific bike—comfortable, good looking, well built and equipped, and easy to assemble with the included tools. But the best thing has been Solé’s customer service. When assembling the bike, I discovered that the seat post clamp threads were stripped. I called customer service, and they had a replacement part in FedEx the next day. The cheerful, quick, apologetic response was a breath of fresh air.
