Very thin pads...
almost busted my right knee when tested it at home on my floor... very thin.

Not too thick nor too thin, just perfect
I like them, you get some padding while maximizing your mobility. They can ride a little low on the knee, which helps to minimize impacting knee-bend. They also stay snug and not slide down. I got them for $23.41 and feel I got a bargain. Would buy them again. Cheers!
