Really like the roadie and the roomie, both excellent hair products for body, volume and shine.

The product is difficult to get out of the container. It holds for sure, but I have to use a blowdryer to heat it up in order to get enough out to apply. Most days I don't fool with using it because it's too much trouble to dig out of the container.

I got this Jillian Dempsey Roomie Hair Pomade for my son and he likes it. It came in a sealed plastic bag and the jar had a taped seal across the seam. See my pics. The scent of this is hard for me to pin down. I think I smell beeswax and ylang ylang, but I don't know what many of these ingredients smell like on their own, so that's just my best guess. It isn't an unpleasant scent, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy this for the scent either. There are several natural oils in this as can be seen on my pic of the ingredient list. My son said this holds his hair well.

I really was hoping this would be the replacement I have been searching for to replace my beloved Grants Brand. It is NOT. It is a sticky paste. and yes, I rubbed it in my palms to heat it up [I read instructions] and it just matted my hair. Had to return it, bummer.

I absolutely LOVE this pomade and am forever grateful to Jillian Dempsey for creating it. My hair is a hot mess without it
