THE ONLY FLOUR TO USE FOR MAKING IRISH SODA BREAD!
If you are making the traditional Irish Soda Bread (not the sweet kind) his is the flour to use. It's perfect. Be sure to keep it in the freezer. Whole grain/meal flour will turn rancid over time if not refrigerated. The flavor is wonderful and it bakes up great. FYI, my recipe (from ATK, I believe) calls for the loaf to be cooked in a 9" cake pan. This works very will indeed. The product is a bit pricey, but I am not a good baker so I want all the help I can get.

No other comes close for Irish Brown Bread
Simply the best - and no other flour comes near - for making genuine Irish brown soda bread. Coarser than any on the US market and arrived within 24 hours. Flavor is amazing, just like home.

The best!
Irish whole meal flour is hard to find and this product is worth the price. It’s fresh and makes delicious, authentic scones, soda and brown breads. Highly recommend.

THIS IS IT!!!
My wife and I went to Ireland( you must visit) in 2019.. we fell in love with the Irish soda Bread. ate it at every breakfast. Its grainy , hearty and delicious. Bobs redmill made a premix but stopped selling it. I was heartbroken....I tried a few other mixes and they were not it at all.. more like a cake. i decided to find a recipe and make it from scratch. I did some homework and this is the stuff. Ive made numerous loaves and this is it.. thick, grainy, chewey and lovely.. recipe for anyone who cares.. this is what I did and it turns out great. 3 cups of Odlums course, 1 cup unbleached organic white flour, 1/2 cup of organic rolled oats, 1.5 Tsp of salt( I use grinded sea salt) , 1 tsp of baking soda.....mix all thoroughly together......then pour in 1&3/4 cups of Buttermilk( I use trader joes low fat cultured buttermilk)....OH FORGOT to preheat over to 450.... mix all together- it will be pretty dry. I form into an oval. cut the top in criss cross and put in the oven for 35 minutes......its the bomb every time! good luck
