Pioneer Dj - djCHOZiN1 DM40W's (White)
The media could not be loaded. Pros...5 stars in most catagories..Some have claimed bass not good enough...It is heavy on bass and full range for a two way speaker! 40 watts sound like 50-60 in your average living room. I mean loud and clear. This video doesn't do these speakers justice like actual hearing. Pioneer DJ gear has stepped their game up for dj controllers and the DM-40-W's are the perfect complement for any dj who needs to hear and feel the mix in their face. Be sure to get adjustable stands. I saved $57 getting these used but would pay full price if I had to... If your as serious about djing as me? You will love these.Cons...I run a recording studio as well...I have recorded on legendary speakers in the past... Are these as good as KRK's? Almost. KRK's will cost you double for same size and similar sound. Most djs and studio engineers are using other speakers for added sound. I use a soundbar and DClass Powered Harbinger Speaker for shows... Really is the best speakers for price range.*Bonus experience....Accidently dropped the line speaker (the second right speaker) on hard tile floor face down on the first night set up, was scared i broke it... Nope.. these things are 4/5 sturdy. I have maxed the sound on speaker level volume and they held. I never max the output on my controller or track recorder. No one should..

Great Quality in a Small Package
Exceptional sound quality at a great price and in a relatively small package for speakers. They look amazing in my opinion but that is just personal preference. Only wish they had a remote but that is not a knock on the product as it obviously isn't advertised as having one.If you are using Edifiers and considering an upgrade, I can confidently say that these will make you happy. I still love my Edifiers and use them for my TV audio but these are so much better for music and offer much better clarity.

Great budget monitors, fair prince, more powerful than they seem
So I've officially had these monitors in a treated room producing mainly experimental house, techno and trance on them. Firstly, those people saying these are not for music producing don't know WTF they're talking about. They sound great and even though I wouldn't master tracks on them they work just as good as my RM-05's they I keep in a different facility. They get fairly loud, bright, clear sound, the reflex system on the bass keeps everything balanced and I don't feel like they are colored to much.A word of warning tho!!!! Every picture I've seen shows the master monitor on the left and the slave on the right... This is not the correct setup. The master monitor (the one with the knob) goes on the right and the slave on the left. A lot of entry level producers/DJs don't understand that sound is inverted when it is coming at you. left means right and right means left. also, put these on proper isolation pads or individual monitor stands to properly isolate these from the room. Trust me... The sound really comes through when they are not mudded up by poor insulation/isolation.I've been a producer and engineer for over 10 years and I wish these kind of monitors were around when I first started out coz man... I saved forever for a pair of individually powered nearfield monitors when I could have spent one paycheck on these. 10/10 would buy again.Honestly, if you want a true active reference experience you could in theory buy two pairs and only use the master monitors and idk... use the slaves on a stereo system or something so you can have two independent monitor speakers but like.... that's theoretical and not relevant here so idk why I'm typing it.

Quality speakers!
I love these speakers! I was considering Bluetooth Pioneer speakers but having a direct line just gives better quality sound. I switched out the connection wires for better quality and it does take away any unwanted static at higher volume. I’m happy that I got these at a great price and they are well worth just having if you Mix, love music or produce music. Real producer know not to get these for final cuts but they suffice for studio monitors, so if you read any reviews that say these Pioneer speakers are not quality studio monitors those individuals don’t know what they are talking about or they are cheap and don’t have the money to invest into the correct studio monitors for final studio quality cuts.

Great little speakers, but there's one downside to the headphone jack.
Great little speakers. I wanted something smaller for video editing that had a volume control and a headphone jack on the front. ONLY problem is that the speakers don't silence when you plug in anything with 3 receivers (headphones that have a mic or volume control built in), which is the case for most headphones nowadays. I'm buying an adapter to make it work like I need it to. Not the end of the world as I still prefer to have the headphone jack on the front, but seems like an unnecessary oversight on Pioneer's end.

Good For The Price.
I’ve had these speakers for 2 months now, and they have been great. As I expected, they sound amazing, even at the $150 price point they’re priced at. These do great with music of course, not so sure about production, but I feel as though you wouldn’t want to master some music on these, you could have headphones or speakers that could do better at that sort of stuff. With movies they have been great within the time I’ve had them, the bass is definitely there, not so much to the point that you want to turn it down due to distortion, that is unless you completely turn them all the way up, then as expected you will have problems.

good value for professional equipment.
good quality overall, sound nice and crisp. I have had mine for 3ish months now still sound amazing, they work for most applications. I did have to buy a splitter cable to hook up my sub.
