I’m Sooo happy with this kit , very well built stuff !!! The first kit I got was damaged in shipping. No problem, they sent me a return tag immediately. I returned on a Monday and had a new kit Wednesday. Believe it or not I screwed up the free wheel on the second kit , I called them told them what I did. I expected to pay for the piece I damaged. They said no problem, sent me a return tag and told me to send the whole thing back. I had my third kit in 2 days. It works great !! Great customer service great product. You should include instructions on how to program the lcd screen. There are a lot of really useful functions on there. Don’t let that stop the purchase though you can find a video on YouTube on how to program it. Another thing I want to tell people. One of the install videos on there web site has a guy saying he couldn’t use the brake levers that come with the kit cause his brake levers are part of his derailleurs. So we’re mine. Just cut the brake levers off flush with your derailleurs and use the ones that come in the kit. Works perfectly and you never even know there use to be a brake lever attached to my derailleurs. Lot more effective and efficient then the guy in the video dismantling and glueing and ahhh ya. Much cleaner.Great customer service and great product

For the money, this is a decent enough kit. The instructions are just a 2 page flyer, which has a lot of gaps that need to be filled in. Getting this installed required more than a few workarounds. However, the power from the kit can almost keep up with cars, the lcd is good quality, and the waterproof cables are convenient.Overall, a good kit, but don't make it your first conversion!

That said, if you are putting on a bike with disk brakes you will probably have to do a little grinding and fussing. Took several days to get it all right. Also, consider the wattage. If you are riding solo or with other steroid monkeys, the 1500 watt motor might be okay. If riding with the spouse or others with a commercial made ebike, you will be frustrated with trying to stay slow enough with them. This size motor has massive acceleration and a very high top speed. Certainly not legal in most jurisdictions.

Bought 2 of these ... mostly because, of all the reviews we could find, the product itself was rated about the same as the other highest ranking conversion kits. The difference was the comments about customer support. EBikeling was said to have excellent customer support. The comments about the others were not very good. And my experience with contacting their customer support was outstanding. Always very helpful. Seems like I could reach them at pretty much any time and even on weekends. Provided free parts I needed to accomplish the conversion with my particular bikes. And the results are great. Easy to convert. Runs really good. And excellent deal for the money. Thanks

Extremely happy with this product. It makes for a very clean conversion. The only thing I would change is the rim liner it is not heavy enough. My liner tore and I went through several inner tubes before I figured out what the problem was. If it was not for that I would have given it a five star rating.
