CyberPower GX1325U 1325 VA 810 Watts 10 Outlets Pure Sine Wave with USB Charging Ports

I'm in here looking at these because my current unit is starting to fail.. it shuts itself off at random intervals a couple of times a day. The display shows that the battery is nearly discharged even though the unit is plugged in and the power is on, which means that it's the battery that is punking out.When I got to this page, Amazon informed me that I last purchased one on August 7, 2018. So this unit has been working perfectly for five years. That's about all we ever get from a lead-acid battery, so this was a good one.

Cannot replace battery with commonly available replacement

Great for a gaming rig. I've got a 650W power supply running a pretty standard setup, 6700k running stock, 1070 FTW slightly overclocked, 35" gaming monitor. When running a game this UPS gives me about 15 minutes to save and shutdown which is ample time - up to an hour if the PC is idle. The included options are great too - if there's a power outage when I'm not around the UPS will safely shutdown the PC when there's a certain amount of juice left on the battery, so it's definitely worth it to dedicate a USB port and let the software run in the background.

No smell and so far works great!

Works as expected, but emits a strong, horrible plastic smell that lingers for weeks.After over a month, I doubt it will ever go away completely.

I purchased this in 2020. It worked well until about late 2022, when it ceased providing operation during power loss.This is the second fast failure I've had on a Cyberpower unit, and while replacing the battery is possible, I'm not seeing the longevity I would expect from a device like this.

ok hookup was a breeze. Backing up main desktop and screen. also will transfer cable modem and router so I maintain WI-fi.
