Item pictures and the description of what is included showed a High-side r134a adapter. The kit I received did not have one. I purchased this to diagnose a problem with the AC on my truck, to determine if I had too much refrigerant or not. Turns out, I only needed the low side adapter and this gauge set to make that determination so the missing part was not needed but the missing part would be needed for future uses. Amazon is allowing me to return the kit for a full refund with no problems. Also, the "Detailed manual" is nothing more than a one page diagram of how to connect the hoses to the manifold.

Good product, hoses are not so great, they leak easily.

The high-side schrader valve leaked, so ... that's a 100% deal-breaker in my book! Plus, I had a good deal of refrigerant sprayed all over before I could get it disconnected. I've used these simple gauge sets many times before, but like an idiot, I tried again, hoping I just somehow didn't achieve a full/firm connection. Nope! More R134a sprayed all over me and the car (a 50K Lincoln Navigator). Wow, what a BIG problem this gauge set caused! Now, I have no idea how much of the charge remains, and getting the engine back to it's previously pristine condition will be a very difficult and time consuming task! All in all I estimate buying this inexpensive gauge set has cost me several hundreds of dollars in time and materials. Guess it wasn't so inexpensive after all!!!! Buy something better, and buy local, lately almost everything I order from Amazon is defective or very short lived. I should have known better. And now YOU do know better, so move on!
