No, none of the skirts I own have been a problem. These aren't like the older type of Skimmies, the are much more silky and slicker. I love them.

Q: How far down on the thigh do these hit? I'm looking for a pair that come closer to the knee.

These did not come close to my knee. More like the length of men's boxer briefs.
