Swanson Maca 500 Milligrams 100 Capsules

I have purchased this item both in bulk form from another on-line retailer for use in breakfast shakes and have used these caps from Swanson. I have found both forms to be great energy boosters. In bulk form it adds a kind of peanutty flavor to the shake. The caps are easier for when your on the road or when you have that after lunch dip in the metal alertness. I agree with the others that it does not have any of the side affects of the typical energy drink or mini-shots(5 Hour etc.), which I avoid entirely now.BUYER WARNING! Do certainly be CAREFUL of your SELLER/SHIPPER when you are buying Swanson products. If it doesn't say it is being sold/shipped by Swanson you may not be able to expect the same integrity when it comes to calculating the shipping charges. Notice that when you click on "Add To Cart" it tells you that there is an additional shipping charge ($4.99 at the time of this review). I ordered 12 Swanson products. 10 were sold/shipped by Swanson. I ordered 2 bottles of 1 product which was sold/shipped by DrugStoreLiquidator. The 10 items sold by Swanson were shipped for a combined total of $4.99 as they have been on all my past Swanson orders. The 2 bottles of Swanson products sold via DrugStoreLiquidator shipped for $10.98. Yeah, cancel please!For comparison, I had a stainless steel muffler for my truck shipped halfway across the country in a huge box stuffed with padding and that cost less to ship than they were going to charge for mailing two small bottles of dried herbage. Shameful! Unfortunately since I caught this scam before it shipped and cancelled the order I cannot rate the seller.

I was diagnosised with fibroids and have had severe daily bleeding. I need to have a hysterectomy but the doctor decided to give me progesterone to stop the bleeding. I had my daughter look up the symptoms from using progesterone and it had an extremely long list of complications, very long. So, I looked to something natural, and so I found Maca. I had to go back on progesterone for just a few days to stop the bleeding until the Maca arrived. I thought for sure I would immediately have bleeding but I did not, not at all. I take 2 tablets twice a day just as it states on the bottle and its been a godsend. I use black cohosh with it too but I need to get some Chasteberries for the hot face feeling I have but I would absolutely recommend this to anyone going through early menopause or dealing with any type of female issues such as mine.

Felt a difference in my body

I know this stuff is cheap, but I started taking it a year ago after researching natural products for reproductive health. Wow... I only take 2 capsules per day, but I ovulate right on time, have perfect luteal phases & know exactly when to expect my period, ie. when to expect PMS, etc. This stuff really synchronizes a woman's cycle almost precisely. I haven't noticed a huge energy boost but I do have enough energy to do my daily workouts. It does have a slight aphrodisiac effect too, not instantly, but that is also in synch with the cycle. There are no side effects to-date in my case. I'd definitely recommend this product, especially to women with sporadic cycles, poor quality eggs & to men with poor quality sperm. It's not a pharmacological dose but it might be the boost your "stuff" needs.

Item was shipped very quickly and works really well for night sweats and hot flashes. I take 2 a day and am really pleased with the results. So is MY HUSBAND! Price is fantastic. Will be purchasing more of this as needed from this company.

This product may work for others, but it did not work for me. It actually gave me diarrhea after using it, as directed, for 2 weeks.

i been on this product about 2 weeks now, started off with one a day, but after 7 days moved it up to recommended dosage of two a day and i'm not feeling the boost.I guess we do get what we pay for?
