Just the Right Amount at a Good Price
My mother's eye doctors recommended 10 mg of lutein daily for her macular degeneration because that was the amount used in studies. Most of what we find in the local stores is either 6mg or 20 mg or higher. She is on so many meds, we don't want her to take more than the doctor thinks she needs. This Now Foods lutein gives us the amount used in the studies in a bulk quantity that doesn't have us constantly running out and at a reasonable price. Mom's macular degeneration has been stable for many years on this amount of lutein.
