Doesn't work by itself
If you are like me you might've read something that told you that this will work with your Index by itself, it won't, you'll need to get a powered repeater for your display port cable.

No display
I had the misfortune of not looking at the comments and bought it just to realize that it does not work and there is no display and does not work with my Valve Headset. I don't know why is item is still for sale on Amazon but they need to get rid of it, and to return it for free I got to drive to a staples store 30 minutes away just to return it.

Literal E-waste
Just like all the other one star reviews. I bought this thinking it would work with my headset. The display port doesn't work. One helpful person mentioned you need a repeater to make it work. Still a huge waste of time and money. Don't buy this product.

This cable DOES NOT work for the rift S
Even though in the title it says it works for the rift s the display port connector being 1.2 I guess makes it too weak to support a decent enough connection for the rift s to function off of it. Likewise the oculus will not even see the headset through the display port but the USB 3.0 works great after plugging it into my powered usb hub. Disappointed that the product did not meet expectations but I'm sure the cable would have use elsewhere except for my Oculus Rift S.

so misleading
if you're gonna use this thing you need a DP signal repeater as well. might as well buy separate cables with built in repeaters for what this costs
