Not silk by a long shot, and definitely wouldn't hold up as a flag. The blacks in the poster are purple/blue, it looks like what you'd imagine a faded ink would look like. From afar they look nice, close up you can see the rainbow distortions in the print. I'm a bit on the fence as to how much I paid... on one hand, sure, it works and is the right size for my needs, on the other... it's pretty cheaply made. (I bought two, so this review will also be on the other, as both the posters - not of the same image - are the same in terms of quality.)

This came as a thin vinyl print, which is better than paper
