You get lots of surprises with this calendar. My daughter aged 4 loved this - everyday she was very excited to see what was hiding behind each door. The calendar itself was a bit flimsy - maybe could’ve been a bit sturdier for the price. Other than that, great calendar.

My 6-year old granddaughter is absolutely obsessed with all things lol. I personally cannot see the attraction, to me the whole range seems to be quite overpriced for what it is. I knew my granddaughter would be delighted with this lol surprise advent calendar and right I was, in fact she actually squealed with delight gave it to her.Although expensive £30.99 (price correct at the time of this review) and probably in the greater scheme of things not worth the cost. For an lol surprise lover the price is pretty much immaterial.The Advent calendar itself is a large attractive pink box with images of an lol doll on the front. inside is another lid which has twenty five small cardboard doors to open and one larger door behind which is the l.o.l. Doll. The 25 smaller doors each have a surprise lol doll related item behind it, this could be an item of clothing, shoes or an accessory.On receiving this advent calendar my granddaughter wanted to open all the doors at once. My daughter-in-law managed to convince her to only open the large door which held the l.o.l. Surprise doll and then everyday open another door in sequence. Persuading her that if she did this everyday, by the time she finished opening the last door Christmas would be here. So it was a good way for her to count the days leading up to Christmas instead of bugging her mum and dad with how many sleeps there would be until Christmas Day.My granddaughter actually managed to do this and thoroughly enjoyed the daily opening of the little number door which always revealed something interesting for her lol doll.A brilliant gift any child who's into L.O.L doll surprises.Thank you for reading and I hope you found my review helpful.

Well that’s Christmas gone for another year, the LOL advent calendar was a big hit with my daughter, she can’t wait for next years calendar.I don’t want to give to much away as I know how excited kids gets about Christmas and advent calendars.I can assure you that I think this calendar is one of the better ones I have saw and had in the past.It’s like the standard chocolate advent calendar but instead of chocolates you get LOL surprises - 25 doors to open with surprises behind each door which makes it very exciting.

If you have bought a L.O.L. advent calendar before, please check the accessories I have attached a picture of, it might be this is a repetition edition of what you already have. The doll is exactly as pictured on the box.This is a mini doll (around 6 cm) with a squishy head. It cries when you squeeze the head after you 'feed' it by squeezing water out of the bottle and 'feeding' the doll. After each 'feed' it is important you squeeze all the water out completely and leave the doll to dry in a ventilated area to avoid mould formation.This doll looks cute and has no pets included in the box. These dolls do look adorable so you won't be disappointed. But you have to understand you are only getting a tiny titbit of a doll and a bunch of accessories that you better prepare a container for in advance - these are minuscule and get lost easily.
