Ancient Africa — Fully Explained: Geography, Prehistory, Early History and the Rise of Its Civilizations Paperback – September 6, 2021

Haven't read the whole book yet but what I've read is do fascinating. Videos to the author.

This is an excellent book, which shows that the idea and practice of diversity among people originated in Africa also.. I wish the wish the book would have talked more about the similarities of Africa to give a better understanding of the Pan African idea, but perhaps the diversity does not make that idea possible. Also there is no discussion about the impact of Arab and European invasion that puts all of Africa in the horrible position in the world today. The lack of understanding of White Supremacy makes everything else irrelevant

I bought this book because it covered more African history beyond the well known civilizations of Egypt and Nubia. It covers the history of the name, languages, geography, as well as civilizations not commonly known. I bought the book instead of the Kindle version for easy reference to the maps.
