Travel Must Have!!!
This was a great investment! Our family vacation from Northern California to Northern Washington started without this, and ended with it. Our van doesn’t have a roof rack, so this was the perfect solution! I was happily surprised to see the sliding passenger doors closed and locked securely without the auto-open safety feature engaging. It fit 3 carry-ons and 1 checked luggage with room to spare. Our luggage was completely dry despite driving through rain for ~7 1/2 hours through Washington to Oregon. For remainder of the ~ 6 1/2 hours trip back to California, the luggage was secure with only some bug splatter that was quickly & easily washed off. As a bonus, our teen was able to travel in the 3rd row much more comfortably. This is far and away the easiest 5 star rating I’ve ever given. I highly recommend.

Rhino bag worth the money
Using it presently and just traveled 400 miles with the only issue being the straps coming apart at Velcro and slapping the car in the wind, annoying noise. Had to basically tie them together as the Velcro seems to loosen at high speeds, otherwise the carrier is well made and seems like it would stay watertight. I like that you can put a small lock on it. It took about 30 minutes to setup, load it and strap it down, takes a little bit of effort. I recommend it, especially for the price!

Survived heat, wind and very heavy rains for ten days on the road
I drove ten days across country and went through high winds in the Dakotas, very high heat in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida and a subtropical rain storm in Florida where it was raining so hard for an hour I could barely see anything and drove slowly just following the white line on the side of the road. I was concerned that this carrier might not hold up through it all, especially after the subtropical storm - but it did! This morning I went out to check and everything in the carrier is completely dry! I had been dubious but I'm happy to report this carrier came through for me.

Does it's job, seems well made.
Took this on vacation because I knew we'd have more passengers and I'd need the cargo space. Fairly easy to set up and secure. Seems sturdy and while I didn't have to test its weather-tightness it should keep the rain out. Did not include any kind of lock for the zippers - not that this would stop anyone but it could deter a casual snatcher. Works better with hard-side luggage as softer items tend to get crushed by the straps when you cinch them down. This also leave a lot of excess strap that has to be secured which is kind of a pain. Not really a problem this type of product can solve though. Including grease for the zippers is a nice touch. If you're buying, here are some tips:* If you drive at night, the front of this thing will be covered in bug goo. Be sure and wipe it all off before storing.* Using a roof bag will impact your gas mileage. I was able to directly compare and it was about 4 MPG less with the bag in place.* Yes, it will make all kinds of noises.* Check it when you gas up to make sure everything is still tight, because depending upon how good you pack and what items you're packing, things may settle and loosen the straps a bit.

Great travel equipment
If you have a roof rack with crossbars you may need to add a ratchet strap to help secure the load. I drove from Florida to Nebraska with this on my roof through some rain storms everything came out dry and intact. Highly recommend this product

Works great & very spacious
This bag was fantastic! Roomier than I anticipated and held up extremely well as we drove from Denver, Colorado to Knoxville, TN, about 1,400 miles. We had no issues when we drove through weather and with the anti-slip mat and following the directions on attaching and tightening the straps, it didn’t move at all! It did accumulate some dead bugs but a quick hose off has it clean and ready for future road trips. Definitely would recommend!

A far cry from 4.5 stars
DO NOT BUY! If I could give this item zero stars I would because that is what it at the company deserve! The first item came defective with a broken seam along the zipper, which was clear as day. I returned that in exchange for a new one. That came on time, the day before I left for our family vacation. The second new one not only came with yet another broken seam, but it was missing a sister to one of the buckles! The company clearly has absolutely no quality control. Good think I bought cross bars for the roof because I had to lash that down to keep it secure since I could only anchor it down by 3 points with the clips. I had no need for it, but either the instruction manuals (yes plural with both items) claim that there is an additional strap to secure other items such as a surf board on top or both items came "missing parts" because there was no strap. Furthermore, I don't know if this was Amazon's or the company's doing, but it claimed to have fit my 2022 Rav4. Without the cross bars maybe it would have fit but even still the anchors that you use in the door frame are in the corners as opposed to in the center where they're supposed to be secured. The only positive is that it does hold a lot.

Great value/ easy to use
Great product. I am a 68 year old woman and had no problem getting it on my car, Chevy Cruze, and packing it. Instructions were very good! It stayed on from Bradenton, FL to Mission TX without moving or even loosening up driving 75- 80mph most of the way. Definitely recommend it!
