Very handy in maintenance of aquarium
Great bit of kit for my needs, the supplied fittings allow different cleaning and collecting of aquarium debris, which for me , works perfect, the only drawback I can see, in a small aquarium with lots of aquascape, it may snag the motor housing , on a large aquarium not a problem, the handle can be adjusted to suit your depth via a sliding locking screw, also a great feature it has a hose so water can be pumped back into the aquarium from a bucket on the floor, not a massive speed, but adequate , allowing the lighter amount of water to be lifted and poured, very handy, good length of power cable complete with on/off switch.

It works
Functionally it does the job it says.I gave it a go, it's on the cheaper end of the market but functions just as you'd expect.Using it takes some figuring out. Not as easy as the instructions say. But once it gets going it's great. It's built from what seems to be a rather sturdy plastic. The handle is comfortable in hand, designed with usage in mind. For a little motor, it actually has good suction. The power behind it made a water change in a medium fish tank quite easy clearing a lot of debris that a normal syphon vacuum misses. All in all 4 stars.

Absolutely fabulous I'm in love
The media could not be loaded. Casually the best thing I have invested in for my fish tanks. I have 3 tanks, all with different species in. I use it as a water changer, and to suck any unwanted rubbish lol. YOU HAVE TO GET!!!

Not really fit for purpose.
I have tried more than a few different gadgets to help siphon and clean my fish tanks, but nothing quite ticks all the boxes, and this product has been replaced for something more suitable. So what’s wrong with it?Initially it seemed to have quite poor suction, so I pulled all the various attachments apart and removed the various different filter foams which were constantly blocking up and restricting the flow - first issue solved.Issue number 2: The body/motor section is just too big (about the size of a Grapefruit) to fit between objects in my tanks and therefore it seriously restricted being able to get into all the nooks and crannies when being used to clean the sand/gravel. This sort of leads into issue number 3, there needs to be a much longer nozzle attachment to allow access to the smaller areas that you can’t get this beast into - but you also need to be able to keep the body in the water or it wont suck. Finally, the power cord was too short and so was the siphon tubing, so not only did I always need to use an extension lead but most of the time the tube would slip out of the bucket and I’d get frustrated with the extra mess to mop up.Thumbs down from me.

Worst most useless product ever
This isn't just the worst aquarium product I've ever bought, it's the worst product I've ever bought period. The instructions are a joke, they don't explain anything. There is no guide as to how you're meant to use this anywhere on their website either. You end up making an incredible amount of mess everywhere. The only thing this was able to do was remove water from the tank, but even that was a joke, because they don't bother telling you that the suction will continue even after you turn the switch off. But my manual pump is a hundred times better because it gets rid of dirt when removing water, something this doesn't do.Trying to remove dirt from the tank using the various contraptions provided is worse than useless. The corner suction unit - what a joke that was, it didn't pick up anything. The duckbill section inlet just gets blocked with gravel so ends up unable to remove anything. The brushhead was a total waste of time, better to use a cloth. The gravel washer was again a complete nonsense. How is it meant to clean anything? It says dirt will be absorbed on the sponge or flow out with the water - what does that last bit even mean? And if anything does get absorbed on the sponge, it just goes back into the aquarium. The water shower bag collected some rubbish but hardly anything to justify this expense. Oh, but sure, apparently it can shower turtles. Lucky turtles.Save yourself the hassle of having to put it all back and returning it by not buying it in the first place.I'm glad I bought it from Amazon because this is going straight back.

Game changer
As an axolotl owner this product is an absolute must. It's definitely a step up from using a turkey baster for cleaning and doing water changes by hand. It's simple and quick to use. I have both bare bottom and sand tanks. This product does both.I've recommended this device to many of the axolotl owner groups I'm in and I know some have purchased it and also rave about great it is.The customer service department are brilliant as well, Luna, who I was corresponding to via email was both helpful and knowledgeable. My husband who keeps tropical fish is now going to purchase one after seeing how quick and easy the device is to use.I can't recommended this device or company enough.

Some flaws but a good pump
Quite good, really effective pump but some limitations. It won't work for shallow tanks as a lot of it needs to be submerged for the pump to work. The hose for pumping water out is also not ideal - I've had a number of dirty water spills now from it coming out of the waste water bucket I'm using. It needs to be either a bit longer or have a weight/clamp somewhere near one end.The gravel vacuum doesn't work as well as my manual sifon pump. The pump on this is too string and it regularly just sucks up the gravel, blocking the flow.It works great as a pump though and brushes are handy for glass cleaning.
