This is an amazing cooktop. So sleek simple, NO KNOBS. Flat black glass top with touch buttons not raised. Cleaning takes little effort with the proper cleaner but would not choose anything else.

This is a replacement cooktop for a 25 year old GE. Operation seems to be as advertised. Appearance is nice without knobs. Satisfied with the cooktop so far. Installed easily.

Worked really well for eight months. Then the inner burner of the power boil burner set blew out. Not happy with the service life so far. Fortunately, it became defective while under warranty. Blew out again. Same burner after the one year warranty. Dame burner, same issue. When the repair guy replaced the first time, I noticed the electrical connection was charred badly. I presume this is a poorly design appliance with lack of thermal design consideration. GE products have declined. No wonder their stock is tanking. Go with a Korean or Japaneses manufacturer. American products are all made poorly (and some designed) in China = poor design + Poor quality!

This replaced my GE 12-yr old cooktop that I broke. The old cooktop had raised knobs along the edge that got in the way every time I cleaned the top, basically every time I used it. This new one is digital and completely flat so cleaning is no longer a hassle. There are two things I would change-- the large burner that I use the most is set back from the front edge quite a bit so I have to reach when stirring -- something I hope I will get used to but at first seems a little inconvenient. Also, when I am cooking, if I move the pan off the heat it is likely to turn on another burner that I'm not using due to the location of the digital controls. (Maybe there is a way to lock out individual burners that I haven't discovered. There wasn't a Manual in the box, just a Quick Guide.) It seems that the controls could be situated a little more conveniently. Other than that-- it's a great product and the price was comparable to the one I purchased 12 years ago.

Buttons hard to see, and turn on really to easy

Beautiful, sleek! Installed in ten minutes. Controls are easy to use. Nice lock out feature. Boil feature is awesome fast!

Scratched it right off the bat with an old pot. I burn meals more quickly now because it's faster than my old stove. Easy to clean & looks great with a granite countertop.

Very handy and just what I needed at a good price ! Great item from a good seller !
