It's really good for the price.
I thought it was going to be garbage because compared to other listings for similar items this was very inexpensive. I took it camping, and I was surprised. It's very well made. Fit my minivan like a glove. It was easy to set up. I am going to invest in some heavy duty tent spikes however. We camped on really hard ground, and we bent a couple of these. But they all worked and did their job. It kept the rain off of us and the mosquitoes away.

Made a huge difference in van camping experience
I got this tent in Jan 2022 and used it on multiple minvan solo camping trips. It extended my "living" area, allowing me to cook, read, work on crafting projects while protected from bugs. Some observations based on my experience:--it was very easy to set up and take down once I got the hang of it. I could set the tent up by myself in less than 10 minutes (and I am a senior with not a lot of upper arm strength).--packed, it did not take up much space. And space was a premium when the minivan was my home for 1-2 months at a time.--the mesh netting prevented bugs from getting in, as long as there were no openings/gaps. Besides using stakes, I anchored the netting with water jugs, containers, chairs and table. I camped near Lake Winnipeg, Canada and in Minnesota in late April; the mosquitoes swarmed just outside the tent. Early on, I was careless and snagged the mesh on something, causing small rips. I used needle and yarn to close them up; lesson learned, have not had any new rips since.--the poles extended the tent space but needed soft ground to put down stakes to hold the poles upright. This was a problem when the ground was very hard, or was paved/asphalt. In those cases, I left out the poles and tied the ropes to a tree or structure. Space was reduced but still usable (see photo).--I have camped under the tent in the rain; as long as it was not pouring or very windy, the tent held up well although some rain may blow in through the mesh. Tip: keep a very large plastic bag to hold a wet tent when leaving camp.A few negatives:--the one time I could not set up the tent was a very windy day and the ground was hard. The poles went down, nearly hitting the side of my minivan and the netting blew about. After that I would not even bother to set up tent in similar conditions.--The stakes that came with the tent were useless. I bought heavy duty 10" tent pegs plus a mallet which worked much, much better.--Despite several attempts, I was not able to use the tent on the side of the minivan as stated on the product page. At some campsites, having the tent on the side door would have been better. In summary, for less than $100 at the time I purchased it, this tent improved my minivan camping experience. Breakfast under the tent, with a panaromic view of the natural surrounding: priceless. Also, I received a lot of attention, comments and questions from fellow campers when they saw the tent set up.

Nice
This is not a heavy-duty canopy, but this little tent is so easy to set up. A perfect in a pinch shade, and bug screen. I am really happy with this item fit in a small case, take it along and store it in your trunk.

Set up was easy.
Updated review: one year later. I have used the screen tent numerous times. It is still easy to set up however the loops that the stakes go through tear off easily. I have to repair a few of them and strengthen the others. Hope this is improved in future tents. Other than that I love this screen tent! The storage bag is also generously sized so it is easy to put away.Nice light weight, easy to set up, easy to tear down and put away. For setup I partially close the hatch, attach ties to the roof rails, then put hatch up all the way.I am 5'1" and was able to set this up by myself. The first time took about 10 mins. I set it up in my driveway and took it down about 30 minutes later. We'll see how it goes this weekend while camping.

Best investment!
Was a little skeptical but this is awesome! It fits perfectly on the back doors of our '87 Econoline van 150. It ties to the back tires and is water proof, it allows us to camp with the van doors open, sleep in the van, have a BUG free breeze. It even wraps underneath the van with the bug screen. Super grateful to have found this because mosquitoes love me. This makes camping so fun! We were able to set up both of our camping chairs in it and make our breakfast on a small 1burner propane tank. Best camper van investment thus far!!! We even camped and could listen to the beach waves 🌊

Great...UNTIL it wasn't!
We were finally able to use this last month on a camping trip. Honestly we absolutely loved it....UNTIL one of the fasteners for the top snapped. Because of where the location of the fastener was we had to discontinue using because it basically fell. I will try sewing it and hopefully we can get it up and using again. It does provide wonderful shade and air circulation because of the net. The low review really comes from how it is made and fasteners not 1) long enough 2) adhered with extra layers of strength.

It’s kk
A lot of design flaws but easy to assemble and tow around. Bugs still get in unfortunately poor Design flaws

Meets expectations as a bug net
This is a decent bug net. Bought this for a trip out West during mosquito season. For the most part is kept the mosquitos out. Where there are gaps under the truck bugs will find a way in. Set up was pretty easy. Overall, worth it for a relatively cheap tent, but I would not expect this to hold up for more than one full camping season and I definitely would not trust it in a good rain.Edit: Definitely would not trust it in a heavy rain nor with wind. It rained one night and the middle started pooling water to the point the tent was being pulled off of the truck. We had to prop it up in the middle to keep the water from pooling using a trekking pole inside of wine bottle on a table. The fabric itself seems waterproof but the seams leaked almost instantly. We also added rocks to the edges where the tent could not be staked.
